Chanel PE IMO.
Thread: Chanel PE vs A&F Fierce
A very simple question if I may? I know these two have been compared to death but very simply of the two which edges out the other with better "projection and longevity" only?

Chanel PE IMO.
Chanel PE ..
A&F Fierce for both projection and longevity. A girl told me she could smell me from like 5-7 feet away when i was wearing 3 sprays of Fierce. It lasts a very long time, especially on clothes. PE is the more prestigious scent, but Fierce is the better scent IMHO.
"I am a robot and I like cheese"
1. Axe Kilo
2. Lectric Shave
3. Vicks Vapor Rub
4. Febreze Pour Homme
5. Preferred Stock
Bond No. 9 Riverside Drive beats both. But if it must be between these 2, I would say Chanel PE...
Current Summer Favorites:
1. Creed - Pure White Cologne
2. Xerjoff - Nio
3. Dior - Homme Cologne 2013
4. The Different Company - De Bachmakov
5. Armani - Code Sport Athlete
6. Ermenegildo Zegna - Sicilian Mandarin
7. Dior - Homme Sport 2008
8. Tom Ford - Rive d’Ambre
9. Montale - Aoud Legacy
10. Creed - Virgin Island Water
In terms of projection Fierce. In terms of longevity Platinum Egoiste. Edge goes to Platinum Egoiste, unless you're a 16 year old high school sophomore...even then you'll smell like everyone else at your school if you go with A&F.
Fierce is a fine scent, but too recognizeable. PE is a better choice. Both are very strong and fresh.
Personally I would take PE as well. Find it's longevity better
Current Top 5:
1. Frederic Malle L'eau d'Hiver
2. Tom Ford Noir de Noir
3. Dior Homme / Dior Homme Intense
4. Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Havane / Pure Malt
5. Creed Aventus / Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
I prefer the Fierce to platinum egotiste. The latter is just way too soapy and has that typical Chanel synthetic DNA which I wholeheartedly dislike. It is also the reason I do not own any of their fragrances.
On the other hand, AF Fierce is so terribly overused that i honestly wish this company went out of business so that stopped spraying it all over the place. Seriously, what a terribly dumb practice.
I own a large bottle of the juice but not really using it because of the above reasons. I heard the company is not doing good and closing its stores, so maybe hopefully somewhere down the road it will be forgotten enough to become wearable again..
Platinum Egoiste on both.
On a related note, my parents remember the days when Abercrombie & Fitch sold very nice suits, not pre-ripped jeans. During the same time period as A&F's transformation from elegant class to college-frat trash, Chanel remained classy. You be the judge.
Thanks for reviving this old topic but I've definitely answered this question for myself with CPE all day every day!
Original formulation of Chanel PE. Fierce although pleasant smells extremely synthetic. Also perhaps per age group, Fierce may be more suitable for young person, while PE is more for the mature person.
I do not want to smell like a mall store....Chanel PE...100% not my fav from the house but I would pick it any day over Fierce
I was born to shoot guns and smell good doin it!

CPE is "meh" for me though.. Probs even more synthetic than fierce.
I have and like both Fierce and PE. Both project well and have great longevity. If feeling in a bad boy mood, go with Fierce, but gentlemen prefer PE.
Seconding the PE recommendations, as it is one of my favorites too.
I remember working there my senior year of high school when they launched their velvet blazers haha. What a disaster, lol. I don't even think they went an entire year before they got rid of them from the production line.
Anyway, PE is classy and really dry. Fierce is casual and too recognizable in the states. PE wins by default for me but if you want compliments, go with the fierce.

"college frat-trash" lol. Too funny. Both are excellent. PE is classy and elegant, while Fierce is smooth and alluring. PE is more formal to business casual. Fierce can be business casual to just casual. However, wear what you like for any setting or occasion.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
Fierce smells better of these 2 to me, but not good enough for buying/wearing
