    Default Michael Kors FAKE?

Ok so i purchased a 4.2 Oz Michael for Men from fragrance . net ... UNBOXED
I haven no point of reference as to what this is actually supposed to smell like so i cant tell by the juice. The only thing that bugs me is that on almost EVERY picture (online) the bottle simply says "Michael" on the front. Mine says "Michael Kors"
Now when i went on their official website their bottle matched my bottle, here is a link
    http://www.michaelkors.com/p/Michael...ditorial=false

That is the only place where it says "Michael Kors" on the front.. everywhere else it just says "Michael"

Are there two versions of the bottle? or is mine a fake? Has anyone ever come across a fake Michael For Men; is it a common thing? I sprayed it on recently so I don't know how good the staying power is.

BTW the bottle doesn't feel cheap and it smells good. But i want to make sure.

    - Thanks in advance.

If yours matches the official website then I think you're safe!!! It's just a bottle re-design.

Ok thanks guys!!! The consensus seems to be that it's real. (phew)
I'd just like to hear a few more opinions just to make sure

Michael is the old bottle, the recent ones called "Michael Kors"
I bought one in Macys when it just came out when i was in the US and it said "Michael".
Again - the repeat buy was from Kuala Lumpur when it was released many years later and it was "Michael Kors"

    There are three bottles

Givenchy distribution had the name Micheal on the bottle

1st wave of distribution transition for Givenchy to Lauder the bottle had no name on it

Full distribution over to Lauder the bottle and the fragrance is called Micheal Kors

    Yes -

This is correct. Replying to both confirm and, in essence, repost.

All of my bottles say just "MICHAEL", including the 75ml EdT (which I kept the box for and has a bit more information clarifying info) - it is, indeed, distributed by Givenchy.

My 125ml EdT and Splash After Lotions (which are wonderful for a layered wearing & rather rare) also just say, "MICHAEL". Stickers on the bottom all say Givenchy distribution as well.

Haven't actually seen the new bottle until this post at the corporate website, but did a quick search and found one on Ebay.

Michael is a wonderful, under-the-radar fragrance from way back in 2001. It was actually designed by Harry Fremont - who has a rather unique and diverse resume of work. His nose and tastes are broad - Polo Sport, Halston Catalyst for Men, Kenneth Cole Black for Men, CK One and Black Walnut for Banana Republic (a very nice contemporary fragrance for a mid-level design house).

I feel that this creation influenced a lot of other contemporary bottles later...wonderful tobacco, patchouli, boozy scent with great qualities. A wonderful bottle to apply liberally around loved ones during the holiday season. You will definitely get compliments.

    Cheers,
