Default Unique scents for less than $150?

Any you guys/girls want to recommend? These are the ones I have so far

    Tea For Two
    Dyptique Philosykos
    Fille En Aiguilles
    Frapin 1270
    Egoiste

Any comments on the above? Some background knowledge is that my favourite scents are gourmands such as A*Men, Ambre Narguile(arguably oriental though), Tobacco Vanille, Musc Ravageur. I want to diversify my collection though and not just go for the same type of scents. Not a fan of most citrus scents though. For example, I detested Terre D'hermes EDP, it smelled like synthetic bug spray/dish cleaner.

you can purchase many niche fragrances in 50ml for less than $150. Serge Lutens, Le Labo, Montale, Tauer, Bond (FragranceNet), Chanel Les Exclusifs (75ml), Comme des Garcons, L'Artisan, The Different Company, and many others.

As others have suggested, one direction you could try are leathers, which can be warm and with a touch of sweetness: Knize Ten, but also Tom of Finland.

If you're a gourmand lover, you need to look for Guerlain's L'Instant De Guerlain Extreme (LIDGE). It's one of the best, IMO. Others include Dior Homme/Dior Homme Intense, Guerlain Homme/Guerlain Homme Intense, and Viktor and Rolf's Spicebomb.

And for a unique summer scent, Creed's Virgin Island Water.

All of these plus most of the Lutens export line, many CDGs. Give a chance to the Lush offerings as well...

Funny all the people who are recommending Dior Homme when the OP already owns a bottle. Check the wardrobe, folks. That's why it's there.

    My recommendations:

    Bvlgari Black
    Encre Noire
    Chanel Antaeus
    Cartier Roadster
    Fahrenheit

Also, since you like A*Men you should definitely try all of the flankers you can get your hands on: Pure Havane, Pure Malt, Pure Coffee.

Narciso Rodriguez Him Musc. I find it to be rather unique, interesting, long lasting - everything one would want for the price.

serge lutens entire line in 50ml
    cdg2 and cdg2man
    Mauboussin
the By Kilians in the refill sizes
I think the Chanel exclusives are 110$ for the 2.5oz are they not ?

I already own Dior Homme, I tried Ambre Sultan and CDG2Man, they were interesting, but not for me. Here is my revised list

    Egoiste
    Kiton Men
    Antaeus
    Fille En Aiguilles
    Philosykos(very interested in this one)
Traversee du Bosphore(very interested in this one)
    Eau Sauvage Parfum
    Narciso Rodriguez for Him Musc
    Knize Ten
Tea For Two L'Artisan Parfumeur (very interested in this one)

Does that cover enough ground across all the fragrance wheel? Also, LIDGE can wait, I've heard so many comparisons between LIDGE and Dior Homme, I don't want another similiar cologne for now.

LIDGE gets compared to Dior Homme Intense (both have strong sweet coco power notes), but I've never heard anyone compare it to Dior Homme. The notes that LIDGE and DHI have in common are not a very significant part of DH. IMO LIDGE and Dior Homme smell nothing alike. You have nothing to worry about. LIDGE smells like anise and old school men's cologne mixed with a sweet, dark coco powder. It's cougar bait.

    * If you are willing to spend $168 for 125ml...which includes tax I would highly recommend the Dior Privee line. It is well worth the $18 increase in your budget.

Agree with these. Also try Trumper's Sandalwood (similar to Egoiste, but sweeter, and less expensive) and Eau des Baux by L'Occitane.
