Agreed on Van Cleef and Arpels Pour Homme and Bois du Portugal.

    Adding YSL Pour Homme.

When I think "agressive" I would reach for 80s powerhouse fragrances like Kouros or Azzaro PH.

I was gonna suggest Gucci PH 1 XD Try Dirty English, it shares the vibe with Gucci PH I but they're not the same. YSL Kouros - I know, mentioned too many times on the site in general. Azzaro Silver Black/Onyx - very fresh, sharp and woody - quite longlasting and with a good sillage. Azzaro Visit - excellent sillage and longevity. If you wanna talk about really aggressive, Christian Dior Fahrenheit!

Honest opinion, I wouldn't wear scent anymore, you'll give some eco-warrior client a headache and flush your career down the toilet

given that you choose to live dangerously, I suggest Arrogance by Arrogance, the original, its an 80's powerhouse, but doesn't fit into the stereotype. It's very BLACK, one of the darkest scents I know of, artemesia and castoreum, sparkling drydown. Could be difficult to get your hands on but worth it.

    Creed: Imperial Millesime, Neroli Sauvage
MDCI: Chypre Palatin, Ambre Topkapi (more masculine)
Frederic Malle: French Lover / Bois d'Orage
Tom Ford: Oud Wood, Tobacco Vanille

These combined with an aggressive attitude would work. Actually anything you like that is not too strong would work. I think what is key when it comes to work is not wearing something that is overpowering or has too much projection. Of course that could possibly be balanced with spraying less but I think you should aim to feel good and confident with what you're wearing first and let your attitude do the aggression.

That rules out all the recommendations for Bois du Portugal. It's a rich woody oriental. I like it but I wouldn't recommend it for what you're talking about. Gets a little soft and mushy when you heat up. Never have understood its rep for this kind of thing. My girlfriend used to mistake it for Shalimar.

I'd go for dry woods with slightly less volume, stuff like Yatagan and Sycomore. The matte black stealth of Rive Gauche pour Homme is great if you don't wear too much. Patou pour Homme and Jules are excellent. Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme is good. As koala501 said, anything with a lot of castoreum is usually good. Three of the ones I mentioned have a lot it. Here's another one: www.profumo.it/perfume/prodotto.asp?pid=202

-- But actually the whole idea is a little ridiculous. If you're using a fragrance to prevent being "eaten" by your opponents then you've most likely already lost.

I had to laugh -- Arrogance by Arrogance -- that's really arrogant

Miss Balmain is the most ruthless and vicious smelling scent for me. It could easily put poor old Yatagan, etc, in the corner. Needless to say it's a fragrance for women.

Rochas Lui is also a good masculine with a 'don't mess with me vibe'. Yatagan is also a good all year round masculine. Good luck and check out anything else with a good castoreum mix.
    I'll second that.
