Totally agree - I could have written that! I would add Villoresi's Patchouli and Profumum's Victrix and Patchouly to that list.
Another of my favorite Italian houses is Etro - I'm amazed they haven't been mentioned yet. I especially enjoy Vetiver, Palais Jamais, Patchouly and Gomma.

Not in Singapore that's for sure. But that's nothing but a small inconvenience for us true blue BNers.

Gucci Envy For Men is my No1 fragrance in general, it just happens to be a product of an Italian designer house

Acqua di Parma by miles for me. Anything from the range really, but my favourites (that I also own) are Colonia (original) and Essenza.

Santa Maria Novella is also worth an honourable mention, although I have huge longevity issues with them. It's a classy brand though.

All the above mentioned + DOMENICO CARACENI 1913, a very nice rose centered smell.

    thats my favourite

no one said it had to be a personal scent

One of my favorite scents in my collection is Bell' Antonio from the house of Hilde Soliani. If I was to select a favorite house it would have to be Santa Maria Novella for consistency and tradition.

Carthusia´s "Numero Uno", "Caprissimo", and Laura Tonotto´s "Amir" are great as well (most of the Carthusia-range is also made by Laura Tonatto - she´s really a great perfumer!).
