No one would ever recognize me by a special fragrance, except the person with a dog-like nose and a memory trained like the one of a Shakespeare actor.

Buy a new bottle and you'll see what they did to it. With this castrated juice you won't offend anyone on a hot summer's day.

No, far more a signature rotation, a bunch of staple scents which can range anywhere from 10 to 30 scents (sometimes even more, sometimes even less) I like to wear all year through and on almost any occasion.

At the moment I kind of mix it up and have go to scents for each season but I end up using up juice from all my bottles and don't really want to run out of these bottles at a similar time lol gonna be expensive to replace, so i'm now looking around for a signature scent that I don't mind depleting and replenishing then just mixing in other frags as and when I feel. Works out much cheaper even if the sig scent is expensive.

Though I don't consider it to be my signature scent.

I love Mugler Cologne for what it is. It's just clean, fresh and inoffensive. When I don't want to smell like I have a "cologne" on this fragrance is one that gets the job done and I thoroughly enjoy it. I have it on now and it is beautiful. The more I wear this I detect some sweet note in it maybe the orange flower or the mysterious S note??? S could be sugar.....

I will pick a rotation for fall-winter and one for spring-summer; I spent most of the preceeding six months setting myself up for the next. This can be anything from three to three-dozen or more fragrances. That said there are three scents which are always among my wardrobe, and this is slowly becoming four. These three have all been signatures at one time or another which is to say they were the fragrance my friends and family thought of as 'Mike's cologne,' even if I only wore it once a week. I think of them as my signatures although by now different people have different opinions.

At any rate the first was Givenchy Gentleman (vintage) I used to wear it all the time, and in massive 'cologne guy,' quantities. It went in my hair, in the lining of my coats, everywhere! I'm a little more judicious with the trigger nowdays as they're not making it anymore and it's rather pricey, but all through my life this has been the one to wear when the afternoon is fully developed, and the heat of the day is fading as a crisp breeze comes off the sea. That was when this beast of an EDT came out, and it always lasted all night, but as I seldom spend all night out nowdays I'm more inclined to wear it around the house.

Worth Pour Homme (vintage) my late wife found me this as a replacement to GG, and I've worn it ever since. Being an aromatic fougere it always has a place in my rotation save in the most intense heat. For me this is a great smart-casual scent; loud enough to be noticed, but polite enough to always mantain a certain civility. The older I get the more I appreciate it's understated qualities when compared to simmilar scents of the era. I reach for the reformulation when I need something more polite.

Sables: it smells like sand in summer! I hate aquatics. Wearing a thick, oriental powerhouse in summer is how I thumb my nose as them, but all the same it works. My fiance is getting me to wear it more and more often in winter now too where it is more of a gourmand.

Double Vanille should also be mentioned as it is creeping into an ever more prominant place in my wardrobe, and only the crazy price has stopped it so far from being a daily wear.
