I had a sample of the tea fragrance in the gun bottle. Imagine a really bad version of Yang with a smoke note. Can't vouch for anything else in the line, but the one I tried was awful.

These seemed too tacky for me. Honestly, I hate judging a book by it's cover...but it was just too difficult with these ones.

My wife likes a lot of what Tokyo Milk has to offer. Her favorite is in the dark series named "everything and nothing". It smells like apricot and it's really nice. There are some others that she has had her eye on, I forget the names. I think they have a lot to offer at a great price...and I really don't get all the stuffiness with lines being tacky, just take it for what it's worth. The bottles are simple and have a lot of personality...sheesh, what's tacky about it? Anyway, I think they are definitely geared toward women, but some of them are unisex leaning feminine.

Poe's Tobacco was too floral, though with a bit of an herbal/tea quality to "cut it" a bit. There was little tobacco, but it certainly wasn't weak. I would rather wear Curve Connect. That's the only TM frag I've tried.

Tokyo Milk - Honey and the Moon No. 10 is a sweet honey with sugary florals and a hint of creamy sandalwood. Albeit somewhat linear, it's a reasonably-priced, feminine fragrance.

I like the Poe's Tobacco and Waltz from the original line, and the Absinthe and the #45, the one with the semi-auto pistol on the bottle called Bulletproof.

Honestly this is one of the worst perfume brands I've ever come across. Came across the line in a shop about a year ago and each one was worse than the next. Not to sound snobby but I can't imagine their clientele is very fragrance savvy, seems more aimed at younger girls who shop at Anthropologie.

The Dark line is much more interesting than the original line, but to each his own. The Bulletproof has an almost leathery feel. Hardly something a young girl would wear.

The shop I was at had two different sets of bottles, clear bottles with designs and black bottles. I just went to the T.M. site and I'm guessing the dark line are the opaque black bottles? If so, those were tested. I actually sprayed Poe's Tobacco on my skin as I figured if I was going to like any of them it would be that one. Talk about a poorly named fragrance.. I didn't get anything remotely close to a tobacco, it just came off as a very generic floral that I began to find annoying and it partially ruined the rest of my afternoon as we went from shop to shop.

I'm sure there are a lot of people who like this line because I see their products everywhere but to me I found the fragrances very underwhelming.

There's a shop in Mystic that carries the line-- many of them, anyway. I didn't find a single one compelling.
