    Default Unforgivable Flanker Thread

Perhaps one of the best jus name to jus story in recent history of fragrances. Unforgivable is the product of Sean John's bright idea one night to make even more money. Simply make a clone of your favorite fragrance and call it your own. And the unsuspecting uneducated masses bought the crap out of it to the chagrin of Creed...though it made Creed even more known. Don't want to shell out $200 for Imperial Millesime (the 'vintage' nomenclature) or Millesime Imperial then not to worry, Unforgivable is all you need. Rumor has it that the first few bottles were exactly like the Creed. Multi-Platinum (which is now as expensive as actual platinum) is said to be the closest to any Creed.

    Here are the flankers:

    1. Unforgivable
    2. Unforgivable Multi Platinum
    3. Unforgivable Black
    4. Unforgivable Night
    5. Unforgivable Eau Fraiche

    Thoughts?

Only tried the original - abysmal IMO. Luckily passed over the others.

Detest Unforgivable. No interest in any others. But don't like MI either.

But not really a fan of Puffy Diddy Combs P. Mellencamp or whatever his name is at the moment anyway.

I prefer the original and actually like it better than Multi Plat. However, Creed MI is one of my all time favs and Unforgivable just isn't as good to me. Very good designer/celebrity fragrance though.

I have the original version ...it's ok, I guess.
Maybe I'll wear it in spring/summer. Maybe.

Only owned the original. Not bad, but wouldn't purchase another bottle.

If Unforgivable is "abysmal", then what do you think of Millesime Imperial? You must detest that one also, right? Or is this just another country of origin thing?

Eau Fraiche wears well on me. I also have Multi-Platinum, both are in my wardrobe despite my personal disliking of P. Diddy/Puff Daddy/Sean John... whatever he's calling himself today.

And yes, I own Millesime Imperial, but on some days, I find myself reaching for this - especially whilst in Jamaica.

I actually like Unforgivable and the fizzy 'champagne accord' you get upon the initial spray.

I haven't tried the others but if I wouldn't have known anything about it being a clone of MI or being so popular I would wear this a lot.

Really? I thought this was a huge seller at the department stores.

I might have to grab a 4.2 oz before the prices go up.

It is likely the flankers, along with the namesake, are in fact, unforgivable.

I don't do celebrity frags as a rule. I make my own rules.
I did buy AB Seduction in Black for 6 bucks. I wish I had my 6 bucks back.

When I saw the title "unforgivable flanker", I thought this was something entirely different. I definitely had a few I was going to blow off some steam about
