Monsieur Balmain
Platinum Egoiste
L'Eau d'Issey Intense
On me, to the next day, it just doesn't give up.
I have never tried issey coz the last time i sniffed it, it was way too spicy..nor have i tried le male
The regular L'Eau d'Issey or the Intense?
I don't like the regular L'Eau d'Issey, too nostril piercing and headache inducing. The Intense is better IMO.
terre d'hermes
If possible get the summer edition (2009 or 2012). Long lasting, has good sillage and less harsh than the original whilst adding some extra citrus

Try:
Play by Givenchy - Citrus abounds in the opening, with bergamot, mandarin orange, bitter orange and grapefruit. This wonderful interplay of semi-sweet and semi-bitter flavors, with an undercurrent of woods, is refreshing. The wrestling of the citrus and wood tumbles to its middle. The spicy heart usurps the citrus opening with its pepper, amyris wood and coffee flower, forming a musky, spicy and woody radiance, arousing a sexy aura. The oft-seen patchouli and vetiver base blends with the heart nicely, mellowing the woods and spice, and leads to its alluring drydown. This is a well balanced composition, and has very good longevity and projection.

@chinamen :But won't that turn more sour as people complain ? more citrus !..as if yuzu wasn't already enough, i never tried any issey on my skin so this would rather be very much a blind buy.
A lot of these have been mentioned above, but here goes:
L'Eau d'Issey and Acqua di Gio are pretty strong aquatics, but super common. I would vote agains Issey Intense because it's sweeter and woodier, and less directly citrus. Strong lasting citrus is often hard to come by, but if you don't mind a more sweet, flowery orange rather than sharp and bracing, Varvatos Artisan is an orange machine. And Terre d'Hermes is a more dusty, airy orange. Anything lime will be gone immediately. Trumper's GFT is a fairly long-lasting floral lemon scent, as is Allure Homme Sport Cologne Sport, and Nicolai's Balle de Match is similar but with grapefruit. I wasn't so fond of Monsieur Balmain myself but it's definitely worth checking out. Allure edition blanche is a more creamy lemon.
Citrus notes generally have pretty poor longevity. If a citrus fragrance has really good longevity it's usually because the base notes last, not the citrus. A good example is Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey. It has prominent citrus notes in the mid and top and has excellent longevity, but after 3 hours you really don't smell much citrus. It just turns into a woody floral musk that carries on and on.

Thanks a lot guys, as for now i am getting Adg, 360 red(i know its adg's knockoff but i want to give it a try) and LDI ..i am so longing for citrus punches ...next will certainly be a niche, aventus or git
I'm currently in Bangkok (~30 C), and L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme is working well for me - I don't really know if it would qualify as "very potent and in your face", but it certainly has the kind of projection that people notice.
I'd also expect Eau Sauvage to be good here, especially the EdP or the Extreme.

Bleu de Chanel
Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
Already have bleu de chanel, i really want to try issey miyake even if people call it sour and what not
Tere d' Hermes is a good go-to.....
Try Azzaro Chrome or Chrome Legend.....IMO, they are superb in terms of freshness. they are citrussy, sharp, fresh, manly and intense, and they last forever....and u should as well know that L'eau D'Issey is a masterpiece no matter how you look at it. It's a longevity beast. Forget the intense flanker...just go for the original. Good luck buddy!!!
