Default Heeley Sel Marin vs Frapin L'Humaniste

Which is better in your opinion and why?

+1 for Sel Marin. Sel Marin does not smell like sweetened 7-up water.

My pick is Sel Marin just purely because its a better scent

Sel Marin without a doubt. The longevity and projection of the Frapin offering just didn't cut it for me.

I ordered both those samples a few weeks ago so hopefully I will be able to respond this week. Hopefully I like them both.

I have and like both but I prefer the Heeley.

I quite lime them both but I prefer Sel Marin over L'Humaniste. Although sharing a summery vibe, they're not comparable IMO. The former pairs a solid cedarwood-vetiver combo with a sparkling bergamot opening and the latter is basically a juniper, cocktail-like, spicy-woody concoction with no vetiver whatsoever.

I like both and own both. I would recommend both also but for different reasons.

Sel Marin is refreshing - taking a walk by the ocean - kind of feel. An alternate to Sel Marin for comparison purposes might be Sel d' Vetiver or Acqua di Sale although they are slightly bolder than the minimalist Sel Marin.

L' Humaniste is a light aromatic and is the scent of walking through a garden early in the morning. For this kind of green wet garden air fragrance L' Humaniste is one of the best there is - probably the best one. Comparables for this kind of fragrance idea would be Jardin du Poete, Forte plus Forte and Maestrale - all recommended highly.

I sold L'Humaniste but kept Sel Marin. L'Humaniste just kind of bore me.

I have sampled both and find Sel Marin to be my preference. Invigorating.

They're both over priced, but if I had to pick one it would be Sel Marin.

WAYYYYY over priced for both. But I happen to Love Both. Problem with Both though. TERRIBLE longevity on both for me. I recently went with 4 sprays of my sel marin decant and got a whopping 2 hours of longevity with projection of about 6 inches. haha. Maybe my decant is just old juice.
