    Hello to you all!

Heavy rainfall woke me this morning and it looks
like evening outside already at 9a.m!

Had an interesting few hours at a Bookclub last night,
discussing The Help by Kathryn Stockett. We got a bit
sidetracked by one of the questions: "What beauty treatments
have you tried when younger that you regretted? (based on Skeeter's
    Shinealator experience!!)

Anyway, I'm about to spray on some Opoponax Imperial by Les Nereides.

    Enjoy your holiday, Fragranceman88!

SOTD is Mauboussin. I love this robust oriental for all its interesting facets: touches of booze, dried fruits and (to my nose) whiffs of tobacco and leather. And of course, that rich, smooth woodsy base.

Notes include plum, bergamot, mandarin, white peach, jasmine, ylang ylang, Turkish rose, amber, patchouli, sandalwood, benzoin, cedar, and vanilla

    Best to all!

Firstly, thanks for the, um, emotional support regarding doggie Pieper's nocturnal "remains of the day." I'm sure it was, as 30R put it, an aberration and most likely an oopsy produced during a dream state. If she barks, runs, drinks, and wags her tail during sleep, I'm inclined to think she dreamt she was being taken on a walk and doing her duty.

Meant to mention that I appreciate those posted yesters and now today. Larimar, wowser, that scene you found.

That dog of yours sounds quite entertaining to watch while sleeping, Quarry! Bet you're right about it being a fluke; the furry child who pulled that trick on me was just fine for many years after.

In Chant d'Aromes today, from a sample. Am working on an aldehyde pass that I plan to host later this winter; trying to decide if this should be included. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Have a great day, gang! Safe travels, fragranceman! Hope you have a fantastic time!

Looks like we got off very lightly here with the unseasonal weather. Can't believe the pictures on the news from York - we were only there a few weeks ago and many of the areas we visited are all under water at the moment. Parts of the north-east look to have been very badly hit too. We've had next to nothing here by comparison.

Truly summery here today, so I am preparing a light snack to eat outside. I'm rocking Une Fleur de Cassie (pre-reformulated jus, which is more animalic allthrough and dirtier base) and I instantly went 'aaaaaaaaah'. No doubt here, this is by far the best Malle! Best wishes to all suffering under the bad weather (the reason why it is so warm here)!
