Default Cartier Pasha and Ralph Lauren Safari

Are there any differences between them? I like Cartier Pasha, but I haven`t tested Safari. Which one do you prefer?

Have not tried Pasha but am almost certain I'd prefer it.

Pasha. Safari - it was not bad in its original formulation. Last time I sniffed it it seemed horribly generic and bland, not at all like the Safari I remembered.

As the other poster hinted at, you have to consider reformulations with these kinds of frags.

I go for Safari. A fresh leather floral.

I like Pasha. Much better than Declaration for me. Not sure about Safari.

Their openings are different. Pasha is mint, whereas Safari is eucalyptus.

I like both. Their drydowns are ridiculously similar.

I'm a fan of Safari, but then I'm biased towards it as it was one of my early favourites years ago, hence the nostalgia factor! I haven't tried Pasha.

Pasha by Cartier, by default, when I owned Safari for Men by Ralph Lauren, I could not wait to finish it.

In short, I'd go with vintage Safari over vintage Pasha, but current Pasha over current Safari. I own all versions listed and feel that vintage Safari is head and shoulders above anything else listed above. It smells richer, classier and projects very well. The newest incarnation of Safari is a hollow. a shadow of its past, and not worth the money.

I love Safari. I'm actually not a fan of mint or eucalyptus, but of the two I prefer a little eucalyptus. So even though I haven't smelled Pasha, I'd probably prefer Safari just on that basis.

I would actually buy a vintage bottle of Safari if I could get a hold of one.

Agree. The current offering is one of the few purchases that I've resold. I sought out the vintage instead. Worlds apart.

I prefer Safari. Pasha is a more safe and smooth fragrance.

I wore Safari in my teens. Used to get compliments galore. Unfortunately have been unable to get the vintage I still like the new incarnation but reminisce about the good 'ol days.

in my younger years i would have chosen Safari.. i remember i hated pasha back then

now im older i prefer pasha

but even back then i never got to finish my one big bottle of safari.. i remember there was something very raspy or sweaty about it
i loved it though, safari, polo sport & polo were probably the three best RL fragrances ive encountered.. i think Crest was also good but never got the chance to use it

these days, pasha is one of my staple/faves

btw the safari bottle was one of the most beautiful bottles i ever owned.. i'll ask my mum to look for it, maybe still has some juice left

Both are good fragrances, but Pasha has (in my opinion) a smoother, however not weaker nor shorter-lived, type of spiciness to it.
