    Default Headache from cologne?

What does this mean? I just ordered a bottle of Animale Animale (my first ever cologne purchase out of my own will and money!) and wore it today. I loved the smell, but later in the day it wore off. I reapplied just a teensy bit and now I'm getting a headache. Does this mean I applied too much? Is the cologne not right for my skin or something? I really hope it is something in my control that's doing this because I would hate to return this / resell this :l

I get a headache if I apply too much. I'm pretty light on the trigger in general...any more than 1 or 2 light sprays gets me.

I usually don't get headaches from fragrances, but some of them never fail to give me headaches. Chanel Allure Homme Sport never fails to make my head hurt, and Dolce and Gabbana the One does too on occasion (which sucks because I own a bottle).

I get a terrible headache if i apply Chêne by Serge Lutens on my neck. I have to apply it lightly on my wrists.

Fragrances never seem to give me a headache. Lucky I guess.

You may have gotten a headache from something else. Feeling nauseating from a fragrance that doesn't appeal to you is typical, and I have gotten headaches from fragrances too (Armani Code), but it was probably something else.

1 time may just be a coincidence. Wear it lightly a few times. If you don't get a headache, go nuts with it one time around the house and see if you get a headache.

I personally don't get one from any. Polo Double Black makes me sneeze though...

It's strong, so take it easy on sprays.

Are you sniffing it directly on your skin? I often get headaches when sampling or when I get new frags cos I can't help sniffing my wrist constantly to take it all in! I do have a couple though that seem to give me headaches when I wear- Body Kouros and La Nuit.

Headaches from fragrances are common. Just avoid the ones that do it for you. Caron Third Man or Polo gives me an instant headache, for instance.

I get headaches only if I have over applied or applied certain frags to the neck area, those ones I just now spray away from my neck and that has cured it.

    +1.

Often times it is just a coincidence though. Joop Homme used to give me the biggest headache, but in moderation, it does nothing to me.

I do not get a headache, I too am a luck and fortunate one. HOWEVER, I cannot wear any fragrances around my mom, and my wife is sensitive to a handful of scents from my wardrobe.

Just by looking at the title, without reading the content of the OP, the first thing that came to my mind is the opening of Animale Animale, when sprayed liberally. I like the cologne, but I am now cautious when spraying because I find it too strong.
