I don't have a signature fragrance. My signature changes a little bit every day, why shouldn't my fragrance?

I am not a big vetiver fan. For example, vetiver Extraordinaire is incredibly over whelming to my nose. The only vetiver I have been able to tolerate, is Chanel's Sycomore. I do respect the fact that so many fragrance hobbyists love the scent of vetiver. I just don't dig it so much.

This is a very well-curated line up.

For me, I chose Sycomore as my runaway favorite with Vetiver Tonka edging out Sel de Vetiver by a narrow margin.

Does anyone else appreciate Vetiver Extraordinaire but can't find it wearable because of its harshness??

I like rich fragrances and voted for Guerlain and Encre Noire. They are complex and multi-faceted. I also think the dry straight forward ones such as Sycomore, Etro and Vetiver Extraordinaire are good, but in the end I prefer something rich and lush.

Nice line up Happy to see my three favourites in there. The TDC is cool, too - I wish I'd picked up a bottle when the line was available here.

Don't really find it harsh at all. I do find it pretty tenacious when compared to other Vetivers I have. Just have to go easy on the trigger.

I don't know what it is about vetiver, I cannot tolerate it. I wish that I could enjoy this wonderful note. So many persons seem to love it to the point that I feel jealous. I tried vetiver extroardinaire a couple of times and could not go through the day without having washed it off. It is potent stuff. I can appreciate it for I know many excellent fragrances contain vetiver, but I cannot get by nose to like it.

I have Guerlain and that shit is way to powerful. It gives me a headache. The last time I wore it people were backing away. It's already a weird scent for someone who isn't into fragrance. Tried TF and had to scrub. Cdg2man was pretty good. What's a straight up vetiver that's smooth and mellow.
