Default Are any gents enjoying Dueto's Golden Boy parfume?

I had a sample and now own a bottle. It has such a wonderful suede leather and saffron accord to it. A sophisticated scent with a little sweetness. Totally reminds me of Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather. This one is an excellent and more economically sound, alternative to TL. It also lasts and last, even on my dry skin. Projection is modest but longevity is excellent. Give this one a try.

I just ordered the sample set - $8 shipped for 4x1.5mL samples? Sold!
I also like that you also get an $8 discount off a full bottle.

I read about Golden Boy last year, but had no idea where to test them. Glad that silentrich bumped this thread, and that I finally checked their website.

Golden Boy is a really nice leather fragrance. Perfect amount of projection and lasts a long time. I'm pretty happy with what my $100 bought.

A nice leather - with a gasoline note which at times comes across as rubbery. I can't help but notice a strong similarity to cuir de lancome which has a little more depth and interest. I wouldn't purchase Golden Boy while I have my bottle Of Cuir but if that wasn't
in my wardrobe I would probably ponder a purchase. For now the sample is enough to know I prefer Cuir.

Golden Boy is a very nice frag...Ive been rockin it for quite some time...I will usually do it by day and segue into the evening with a few sprays of TL...they blend nicely IMO.
I was born to shoot guns and smell good doin it!

i just went through the sample kit from Dueto Parfums and am on the fence about whether to get Golden Boy... so would appreciate some help here.

I currently already own Tuscan Leather and love it to bits - i get the TL reference in Golden Boy, but TL is more intense and linear. For those of your who bought a FB of Golden Boy, do you think it is redundant if your already have and adore TL. Is TL getting less love ever since you bought Golden Boy?

(My other dilemma was between Golden Boy and City Love - but am currently swayed towards Golden Boy. Any views as to whether i should review this dilemma?)

The sample of all Dueto Parfums can be obtained from Dueto Parfum's website (http://www.duetoparfums.com/) for a good deal inclusive of international shipping + the cost of the sample kit may be used to be deducted against the price of a full bottle purchase.

Been sampling this one on and off lately. A nice literal interpretation of what leather smells like. Definitely a poor mans Tuscan leather though I would rather save up for a bottle of the latter. Still very nice but at this point in time I'm into more of a chypre leather such as knize ten.

I really need to get my hands on a sample of this. I love Tuscan Leather, but can't afford a bottle, and have yet to find anything even remotely close to it.

I have samples/decants of both Tuscan leather and Golden Boy - I concur that it is an excellent alternative too, however is qualified to stand on it's own merits as well...
LOOKING FOR DECANTS OF ANY O. Durbano, ANY Hilde Soliana, BOISE VANILLE, COLOGNE POUR LE SOIR, MUSC RAVEGEUR, AND ROSE 31 TO SWAP:.:wink

I own Tuscan Leather, and just received my sample of Golden Boy a short while back. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet, but just from spraying it on a test strip I get a similar smell to Tuscan Leather, but I also swear I smelled Oud Wood in there too.???? Just from a quick sniff I didn't get the same quality as I did with Tuscan Leather. I don't see it being fb worthy for me with TL already in my collection, but we'll see.

I''ll give it a proper wearing next week, and report back with my findings.

its a nice fragrance , quite similar to tuscan leather. The name is odd, though, something Liberace would call his fragrance if he came out with one

To give some much-deserved props to Dueto, they did a promotion here at Basenotes when they launched the company a couple of years ago where they shipped free sample packs internationally to a TON of members who replied to a thread. I was a little scared by their silly bottles and their advertising style, but their scents are quite good.
