Gucci PH 1.
Totem Eclipse by Smell Bent - a cheapie, and without a doubt one of the best green scents I have tried I love it.

I'll second both Tam Dao and Santal 33 and I'll add...
Let Me Play The Lion
Gucci Rush For Men
Juicy Couture Dirty English. The very first thought I had upon smelling this was fresh sawdust.
I don't have a signature fragrance. My signature changes a little bit every day, why shouldn't my fragrance?
It immediately brings back memories of when I used to work in a dusty woodshop restoring antiques. Gucci Pour Homme has a similar dry down as well. They don't really remind me of cutting wood exactly, but more of the smell of old sawdust and woodchips.
But the fragrance that reminds me most of actually "cutting wood" is by far Dior Fahrenheit. Not cutting wood with an axe, but with a gas-powered chain saw. My Dad used to always go out cutting wood with a chain saw and when he came back inside the freshly cut wood, gasoline, and sweaty musk would all mix together and smell remarkably similar to Fahrenheit. The fist time I smelled Fahrenheit I was convinced my dad used to wear it because it brought back so many memories of him from my childhood. But my mother assures me that he never wore cologne. Now I'm certain it was just the smell of cut wood and gasoline on his skin.
+1 Let Me Play the Lion
Also check out Black Tourmaline - the smell of pine sap, wood, and some wood smoke.

In a world where people smell bad, it is the personal responsibility of every Basenoter to improve the world one SotD at a time...
Where can I find a sample of the Hinoki by Monocle/Comme des Garçons. I have looked everywhere.

Ah the smell of Home Depot...I have not found it's equal
Canadians: I would like to trade for a decant of The 3rd Man by Caron. PM me.
^^^^you probably mean "Homme Depot"
Tam Dao in my opinion is just sandalwood, i think Noble Cedar by Chopard and Chene is a superb recommendation
Seems Gucci PH 1 smells much like sawdust. I can't comment but I have started to notice a lot of cedar in Gucci's Envy, so if you are happy with cedar sawdust this could be the one.
Laboratorio Olfattivo Cozumel. No doubts!
Edit; +2 The Ginestet Le Boise!

Gucci Pour Homme. (After the oil has blown away from my chainsaw cutting the wood).
Actually DeSquared's Potion is pretty close too.
