It would be hard to decide, but it would most likely be a close combat between the following: Chanel, Dior, Caron, YSL, Guerlain, Hermes and Givenchy. All of them are, in my opinion, outstanding in terms of versatility, creativity and quality.
I was inspired by the thread by phi, planning to build his entire wardrobe from Bond no.9 frags. Made me wonder, if you could only wear fragrances from one house, designer or niche, which one would you chose and why?
Keep in mind that in this scenario, all your fragrances have to be from this house, so you might want to look for versatility and range of fragrances as well as quality.

Easy for me - Chanel. Between the Exclusifs and their main line, all my needs would be met.
My 2 favourite Frags of all time are Fahrenheit and Dior Homme Intense, so I'd have to go for Dior.
Supertough choice. Perhaps Etat Libre d'Orange for me, the quirky line has a pretty broad spectrum of scents, from traditional fresh (Eloge), or masculine (Je suis), to leathers (Rien, Tom of Finland), florals (Jasmin et cigarette, rossy, etc.) and more. But Chanel would also do, with its exclusives.
cacio
Hard for me to say since I'm relatively new to fragrances. I like a lot of different things, but I'd want a house that has a LOT of choices, most of which would be fairly different from one another.
I guess if I had to choose, it'd be Creed since I like a good amount of their stuff, but not enough to buy it. So, I assume that I'd like them more if I could only wear stuff from Creed. Plus, Aventus is my comfort scent, so I would have a hard time being without that.
Dior
Guerlain

During my limited time/experience, I've found that I like most of the scents I've tried from Chanel and Tom Ford....with the edge going to Chanel.
"We don't fail because we aim too high and miss, but because we aim too low and hit" - Les Brown
"When you're all alone, when no one is watching, and there's no one around to impress, that is who you are" - Greg Laurie
Chanel for me.
Only one? Oh well, sweat, sweat. It would have to be Dior.
Creed as I like them.
Tauer for me.
Considering it'd include the Pentachord line and Zeta - there's my fresh translucent fragrances. Then you got your heavy winter stuff - the classic line - throwing Tableau in there too and that'd be gravy
This choice would CLOSELY be followed by Aftelier
Tough call... It would have to be either Malle, Micallef or Mona di Orio. If I had to choose, then I guess Malle.

Creed or Guerlain here.
Between Dior, Amouage, and Creed. Thing is Creed has the deepest bench, but I still don't know.
Chanel. I like all their frags.
For mainstream, I'd say Chanel. Niche would be L'Artisan.
"You smell like sunshine and happiness."
I would have chosen Caron, but that much strength all the time would be too much, so Dior, mostly vintage formulae, as I like the range within the house best: all Poisons, Diorella, Diorama, Miss Dior, Miss Dior Cherie, Fahrenheit, Dioressence, Dune, Diorling, Diorissimo, Eau Sauvage, La Collection. Set for most every occasion.
Designer: Chanel Niche: Creed
Don't know how to decide between the 2....
frederic malle........ but man i would be sad![]()
1. Dior Homme Original
2. Musc Ravaguer
3. Portrait of a Lady
4. Noir de Noir
5. L Instant Guerlain pour Homme Extreme
6. New Haarlem
7. Pure Coffee
8. Blu Mediterraneo Sicilian Almond
9. Rose 31
10. Spiritueuse Double Vanille
It would have to be Creed - I am usually in love with most of their fragrances.
Editions de Parfums - I like the fragrances and the line has enough versatility for my preferences.
One house only? YSL.
At this point, Hermes. I like the most number of scents so far from this house out of any other house. Runners up: Guerlain, Chanel, YSL. I have yet to try many Dior, but I would like to work on that.
Cheers!
I send thee this sweet perfume a fragrance to the fragrant, as one would offer wine to the god of wine.
Escentric Molecules (especially so if it includes Kinski and Beautiful Mind)
I wear either Dior Homme or Dior Homme Intense about 80% of the time these days and I'm also a big fan of Farenheit, so it would have to be Dior for me. Creed or Guerlain would be close seconds. I think between those 3 houses I could be completely satisfied fragrancewise for the rest of my life.
I own the most Penhaligon's, and I'd have a hard time living without Sartorial, so I guess it's an easy choice for me. They've also got a nice, large range, so I wouldn't be too limited in style.
