Creed MI. Hands down
I know we wear fragrances first and foremost for ourselves and what we personally like, but I was wondering what your partner likes on you, especially if it is not your favorite.
Though I like L'eau d'Issey, Individuel, and Lalique pour homme, my wife really likes Dunhill Desire Blue and Chrome on me.
Creed MI. Hands down
He actually dislikes the majority of fragrances I wear. But he recently said he liked what I was wearing, which was Invasion Barbare.
Currently single, but the scents most liked on me by partners range within quite a wide spectrum: anything from gourmand to leathery, however, the more unspectacular stuff like Boss Bottled, Gucci Envy for Men, Versace Blue Jeans etc. has gotten most complimented, most relished, most favored.
For me it has always been two: Terre d' Hermes EdT (first by miles) and Acqua di Parma Colonia original
She picked it for our wedding in 2006..right after it came out. So the first time I wore it was our wedding night..October..and then honeymoon in Italy. So brings back great memories when I wear it now.
"As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round."
1. Gucci PH II
2. Acqua Di Gio
another that she likes lot and often comments:
Versace Pour Homme
Avon Crisp Forest
Bruno Banani Magic Man
TOP 3 hot weather:
1. Gucci Pour Homme II
2. Lalique Encre Noire
3. Thierry Mugler Pure Energy
TOP 3 cold weather:
1. Dior Homme
2. Eau des Baux
3. L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme
Armani Aqua Di Gio, D&G Light Blue pour Homme, Versace pour Homme, Hugo Boss Bottled and Express Loyalty are her favorites...Fortunately, she's taken to Chanel Coromandel, Platinum Egoiste and He Wood Ocean Wet Wood as of late.
She Hates: Creed Green Irish Tweed (yes I know...she said it smells like wood which makes no sense), anything from Slumberhouse (understandable I guess), 34 Boulevard Saint Germain, Cartier Roadster Sport and YSL La Nuit de L'Homme (also didn't understand)
My wife's favorite on me is Balafre but enjoys anything I decide to put on.
For some odd reason the only fragrance my wife really enjoys on me is Marc Jacobson's for Men by Marc Jacobson. Not my favorite but she loves it.
Oops! I mean to write Marc Jacobs for Men by Marc Jacobs
My girlfriend hates GIT for some reason, says it smells like wood...I don't get it. I'm not really a huge fan either at the price point, I think it smells a bit too soapy on my skin. Either way, I now have 1/2 oz decant that I'm trying to use or sell. I'm getting a sample of Rose 31 this week, interested to see where that fits in on both her list and my list.
Same as hednic, she likes anything I wear.
Les Nuits d'Hadrien
Tobacco Vanille is her favorite.
Top 5 among others...which are most complimented by her..
2. Lalique White
3. Bang by MJ
4. YSL La Nuit
My wife's faves on me are Aventus, Dolce & Gabbana, GIT, Pure Havane and anything sweet and powdery. She has also commented favorably lately about Himalaya and MI. Also LADDM.
MI is a new "like" for her. In the past she could take it or leave it.
She hates most aquatics such as ADG, Issey and the like. She LOATHES D&G Light Blue PH.
I'm wearing one of her past favorites today (Oscar for Men) just to see if she recognizes it. I just reacquired it yesterday and she does not know it yet (at $19.99, I snatched it up).
It's a toss up between LIDGE and Pure Malt. I like both, but neither are my favorites.
My wife's favorites on me are:
1) Creed Aventus
2) by Kilian - Straight to Heaven
3) Bond No. 9 - Bleecker Street
4) by Kilian - Cruel Intentions
5) Thierry Mugler - Pure Havane
LuckilyI also love all of those too. The ones she really likes that I do not are:
Amouage Interlude Man
Bond No. 9 Harrods Swarovski Limited Edition
1. Creed - Spice & Wood
2. Creed - Aventus
3. Tom Ford - Grey Vetiver
4. Xerjoff - Fars
5. Dior - Vetiver
6. Creed - Green Valley
7. Clive Christian - 1872 for Men
8. by Kilian - Straight to Heaven
9. The Different Company - De Bachmakov
10. Creed - Royal Scottish Lavender
None. I am a forever alone guy
My fiancé's favorite is Declaration.
Vetiver Vert is his favorite of all followed by:
Fille En Aiguilles
In no particular order, with no particular commonalities:
- Ormonde Man
- Bogart Pour Homme
- Gucci Envy
- A&F Fierce
- Vera Wang for Men
- The One
- Terre D'Hermes
- Burberry Touch
- John Varvatos
- Bleecker Street
Thankfully, I enjoy most of these as much as she does, so it works out quite well.
Noir de Noir and Oud Wood
She likes a lot of the stuff I wear, but Sycomore is clearly her supreme favorite. Vétiver Tonka, Etro Patchouly, Vétiver Extraordinaire and Odeur 53 tend to get me some very favorable attention as well...
On her, on the other hand, nothing beats Philosykos...
Recently, my wife likes Silver Mountain Water and Green Irish Tweed. She was turned off by the opening of Spicebomb when I first sampled it.
Aventus and recently Royal Oud.
Also tried MI with her at a store a few days ago. She absolutely loved it on me, so might be a future purchase.
She goes crazy over adg, and says i smell good over hugo by hugo boss
She likes either the ones she bought me, Armani Eau Pour Homme, Blenheim Bouquet or Caron Pour Un Homme, or the ones I bought that remind her of TdH which she wanted to buy me and is well documented that I cannot stand. So Declaration Essence or Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisee.
Which begs the question did she buy these for me, or indirectly for her?
Anything else is "OK" apart from Miracle L'Aquatonic or L'Eau D'issey PH (actually she hates aquatics in general). I agree with her on the Lancome (dont know why I kept it), but you can take the Issey from my cold dead hands...
She's complimented Encre Noire and Salvador Dali ph. Which surprised me a bit, but suits me just fine.
She's never said anything to me about Polo Blue. But I notice she wears it sometimes. And, to my nose, it works better on her than me.
MI, Dior Homme Sport, Egoiste.....
Want to trade - Chanel Platinum Egoiste for Dior Eau Sauvage...
She likes Equus (Lalique) and Lacoste Elégance a lot!
1. Live Jazz
2. Rochas Man
My wife's favorite is Amouage Lyric Man
My wife HATES all of my Kouros collection, says they smell like hospital sanitizer, but she LOVES Spicebomb and really enjoys the dry down.
On my Mr Ali I love him in Quorum which he has worn all our married life so that's more memories than smell. Recent gifts to my none scent loving partially anosmic hubby have been A*men Taste of Fragrance which I love but smells better on me and Spicebomb. He wears them but doesn't care for them one way or another
My girlfriend loves CK's euphoria intense on me a lot. anytime she smells it, she tells me she wants to eat me up. And she actually does (all the time). Wanna get laid??....try this stuff. for real. Plus...superb drydown IMO.
Jicky, Ambre Sultan, the Acqua di Parma Colonias, and she's also commented positively on Arsene Lupin and Dior Homme.

My wife loves TdH, which is good because it's one of my favourites as well. Other than that, she is fairly neutral on most of them. There are a couple that have received negative comments: Kouros, Ambre Précieux, Wonderwood and Aventus.
My girlfriend loves Idole by Lubin. She practically rolls around in me when I'm wearing it.
My Top Ten:
1: Guerlain - Habit Rouge
2: Guerlain - Jicky
3: Guerlain - Mouchoir de Monsieur
4: Guerlain - Shalimar
5: Knize - Knize Ten
6: Caron - Yatagan
7: Caron - Pour Un Homme
8: Jean Desprez - Bal a Versailles
9: Yves Saint Laurent - M7
10: Salvador Dali - Dali Pour Homme
Creed Aventus, Creed OG Santal, Creed GIT, L'essence de Cerutti, La Nuit, Geo F. Trumper Eucris and a few others.
Tommy Hilfiger, Pure Malt, GIT, Aventus, 24 The Fragrance, and Cereus No.7.
My girlfriend loves the following on me:
1. Prada Amber Pour Homme
2. Green Irish Tweed
3. Platinum Egoiste
4. Back to Black
If you read the studies what your artners really like is your bodies own natural scent. That is one of the most important biological attractors when it comes to females and homosexual men. MHC, or the major histocompatabilit complex. The scent you naturally give off tells your partner weather you will pass on good or bad traits to your children.
Habit Rouge? Welllll, she likes it, but doesn't really love it these days. Fickle is she. She goes through phases though. It may be that I just wear it so often that it's just the smell of me, and the others seem more special.

My girlfriend enjoys Musc Ravageur on me.
VC&Arpels Zanzibar, Azzaro Visit, Davidoff Zino, Terre d'Hermes, Gucci PH, Cacharel Nemo...all in my top 10
"I love fragrances because they provide a sheer endless variety: there is a scent for every occasion, mood or feeling. Standing before my collection in the morning matching a perfume to my needs is one of the most enjoyable things in my day"...I don't want to miss that...

Lolita Lempicka -Au Masculin
Chanel -Pour Monsieur Concentree
Brecourt- Contre Pouvoir
L'Eau D'Issey PH
He Wood Silver Wind Wood (her absolute favorite)
My wife's absolute favourite on me is Hermes Equipage. The only other fragrance she's ever complimented me on was this morning. Ambre Narguile.
Hard work never killed anyone, but why risk it?
My girlfriend likes Drakkar Noir on me the most it seems. She says it's a manly one. Also, Obsession for men makes her want to cuddle a lot it seems. Other women like Acqua Di Gio on me though. My favourite two atm are Acqua di Gio and Boss Bottled - I'm keeping those in my collection wether anyone likes them or not, they are gems to me.
