Default Under the Radar Gourmand/Sweet Frags anyone?

Hey I'm a sucker for Gourmand and Sweet Cocoa/Coffee/Tonka Frags and I'm looking for some new ones. Does anyone know of any that aren't too known or some that are under the radar, if you will? Thanks!

Shoot these are cheapies but I feel they are under the radar and quite good. Body heat by parfum de cour, VIP by playboy, and Legend by Michael Jordan.

I have body Heat and am not a fan of it. I tried both of the other ones and they aren't too good imo either. :/

24 Gold is one, it's slowly working it's way up though. Give a month or two, that bad boy won't be under the radar anymore.

Lol. What % of people you meet in the real world wear DHI? Less than 0.5% I would say (unless you work at basenotes or DH headquarters!). No one even knows it exists outside of frag heads like us.

exactly. I bought 24 gold and it works better on my wife it starts good, but after an hour it is a girly smell on my skin. my wife loved it and since it is unisex, no regretting of buying

I hear a lot about 24 gold but I have only seen it in walmart and I'm in the dessert over here so not sure how well a gourmand would do. I barely wear my joop any more because of this. On the other side it is getting colder. Should I buy?

Mandarina Duck Black - It's tangerine, vanilla, and tonka bean. Also has just a touch of tobacco.
24 Gold - Raspberry creamy vanilla with a slightly smokey amber base.
Ted Lapidus Altamir - Smells like a combination of Le Male, PI, and Fleur de Male.
Strictly Private - A better version of fahrenheit 32.

Mauboussin, the one marketed to women. A great gourmand that is a great discovery: Top is yellow plum, bergamot or red tangerine. White peach, Indian jasmine, ylang-ylang and Turkish rose in the heart of the perfume. The base adds accords of amber, patchouli, Indonesian sandalwood, cedar, benzoic and vanilla.

Another is Ambre Gris by Balmain. Pink pepper, cinnamon, tuberose, immortelle, myrrh, smoky gaďac wood, benzoin, white musks, ambergris.
"No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this." Desert Rose by Sting and Cheb Mami, Album 1999.

Animale Animale is very similar to A men without the tarnotes, I also hear it smells exactly like Pure Havane, but I cant confirm that. Extremely cheap too!

It does have an Aman vibe less the tar, it is cheap and reasonable under the radar, nfw does it smell like Pure Havane though.

If you like unusual gourmand scents you owe it to yourself to try a sample of Liz Zorn's Leather Krem - found at soivohle.com.

EDIT: And if you go there to try it out, you might as well give a try to a half dozen of her other fabulous fragrances. Others will have their favorites but I recommend:

    Meerchaum
    Oudh Lacquer
    Underworld
    Tobacco and Tuille
    Green Oakmoss
    Leather Krem

I just sampled Disco Nap-Smell Bent. Its from their new Sunset People collection. Its a definite gourmand. Coconut and chocolate heaven. Its also reasonably priced.

Ok - this one flies under the radar and is strangely gourmand:

    Ore by Slumberhouse.

It's a kind of balsamic chocolate scent. It starts off as a dry balsamic cocao (not sweet at all), but dries down more sweet caramel - chocolate, but still with the balsamic edge. This contrast in notes makes for a challenging gourmand (ish) scent. So if you want to check out the outer edges of gourmand, this one may be worth a sniff. They seem pretty generous with samples through the website too.

I don't know if its under the radar, but montale red aoud is my next purchase. Unbelievable scent and the longevity is ridiculous.

    Just remembered: Frapin 1270.

Sweet, caramelly and boozy (cognac) - a nice unique and quality scent, although not huge longevity.
