Default Is there something in the vein of Troisieme Man by Caron?

I loved this one. It is very luxurious i would say. I have no deception with Caron until now. Maybe there is more Caron in this same vein, maybe Bellodgia? Any other house-scent despite the well know chanel Egoiste? Thanks!

Not sure what you are saying. Is this a reformulation complaint?

I find it similar to these:

Davidoff Zino -- I can't stand birch tar, so Zino is way more up my alley than 3me Homme which does have a touch of that "leather" ingredient. Zino has a huge civet accord in it though and that is too challenging for some. Try to get the vintage "script letters" bottle -- very, very smooth transitions and excellent longevity. This frag keeps moving up my fav ladder and is in the top 5 now probably. 5 stars. Edit: Bigsly is the one who introduced me to it!! Thanks bro ... we've done like 50 swaps :P

Givenchy Gentleman -- a bit more spare in structure, this one shares the vanilla, patchouli and birch tar of 3me Homme but without a lot of the complexity in the heart. Stripped down.

I thought about Insense by Givenchy.

No i was looking for one scent that could be as good as third man. It may be from Caron, so i asked about bellodgia because it has a floral sweet description in some reviews. Or maybe another spicy-oriental scent. Shalimar? Havana? Haven´t tried those yet.

I will try to find Insense. I read good things about it too. Thanks!

Zino should be the vintage right? People told me that the reformulated is too bad. I am confused.

Lippizan by Parfums de Marly. Presents jasmine in a smoother, more luxurious way. Easily one of my favourite frags,
ointments and perfume delight the heart....

I'll second Insensè as another great example of a masculine floral but it completely lacks the fougerey aspect of Le Troisieme Homme. Lippizan is a good call if you like some leather.

Not exactly similar but still well worth checking out in your case: Ungaro II

I looked in Luca Turin book right now about heritage, and he puts in a same "group" just what you Alfarom said and others BN´s... Those are: Zino Davidoff, Globe, Troisième Homme, Insensé, Bel-Ami. Then, he ends: " Héritage (1992), derived from Zino, was another failed try at making masculine fragrance stop dragging its knuckles on the ground"

Without question, they are very similar in the last half.

I tried Tiffany for Men for the first time yesterday, and found it strongly reminiscent of Troisieme Homme. The Tiffany is the lighter fragrance, and undoubtedly more easy to wear, yet I would not prefer it.
