    Default Best unscented lotion

I've been using Eucerin (great stuff!) but my bottle is empty, and I just realized tonight that it has a slight 'sour/biter' smell. Wouldn't be offensive to most but I'd prefer not to have it...since I need to pick up a new bottle anyway, what kind would be best? If not "truly unscented" I'd rather have something that has a sweeter scent, not that bitterness.

I often use Nivea Essentially Enriched, and it has no smell on me, but I'm sure noses differ.

I also like a lot oils based on almond oil, very hydrating for my skin, and they have a sweetish smell. the problem is that they are true oils and you cannot use them for daily wear, as they stain clothes.

I'll check out the Nivea, thank you!

Yea, oil that stains clothes/sheets/etc. is a no-go for me. I do like shea butter (and use it on my hands at night with no staining/etc issues) but it's too heavy for my entire body.

Re: Shea butter, l'Occitane has various products with lower concentrations of shea butter and thus quite light and creamy. But they usually heavily scented, unlike the 100% shea butter.

Are you using the regular Nivea Essentially Enriched or some unscented version? The ingredients list "fragrance" but if you say it doesn't have any actual scent I'll take your word for it and give it a try (I like Nivea stuff anyway, so it won't be a waste.)

Yes, the regular one with almond oil and "sea minerals". It's not technically unscented. On my skin, however, it doesn't smell much. But as usual, I'm sure it depends on skin types.

Another vote for L'Occitane Shea Butter.

I will add Elemis Skin Nourishing Body Lotion, another soft fresh almost baby like smell.

Don't worry they don't get in the way of any fragrance applied over.

That's what I was concerned about... I don't know if I have an overly sensitive nose or something (could explain why most perfumes are "too strong" for me) but that bitter smell from the Eucerin was annoying!

My favorite lotion (Beyond Belief Nourishing Lotion) comes in an unscented version, but I prefer the very lightly scented Grape Seed Extract version, which is quite neutral and doesn't clash with anything. You can get it at Sally Beauty Supply in stores or online:

    http://www.sallybeauty.com/nourishin...l?cm_vc=SEARCH

It's just right-- not too greasy, not too thick, not too thin, not sticky or goopy.

Here's the unscented version, which I've also seen in the larger pump bottle in stores:

I wear Aveeno's Daily Moisturizing lotion. It has no scent and doesn't have that greasy feel to it.

When summer I love Haruhada Collagen Moisture Skin Lotion - no smell and great moisture. But it's not enough in winter times((

Kiehls Creme de Corps. Unscented and a really great body moisturiser.

I love the unscented one by John Masters. Soothing if you have very sensitive skin.

I use Cetaphil's Ultra Hydrating Lotion & (more often) their Moisturising Cream in the tub. They do have a very slight smell but I find they're perfect for keeping my skin hydrated under fragrances & make the scent last longer. It's cheap too.
It's been a long hot Summer in Sydney, looking forward to Winter & wearing vanilla fragrances.

Alba Organics Unscented is good; CeraVe is also really amazing and priced very low - this stuff I can use on my face no problem. Very gentle, very moisturizing. The bottle is too small for our household though, so my daughter and I just use it as face lotion generally.

I use lubriderm 3-in-1 lotion for body, face, and post shave. The triple action moisturizes, improves and soothes my skin. I also, use Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion as well. These are my go-to guys especially during the winter months.
