Miller et Bertaux will be launching the unisex Oh, ooOoh ...oh (Mist, Wood, Wind and Guitar)
The press release present the fragrance through a song text:
Oh, oh ooooh ...
A voice rises. That of a free and cowboy poet.
You can find the rest yourself if you have the stomach for it.
Despite all the hippy-dippyness, I have a soft spot for Miller et Bertaux, they usually make good fragrances.
This one features notes of bitter orange peel, juniper, artemisia, Virginia cedar, redwood, dried herbs, labdanum, leather, moss, and hemp: all meant to reflect the wildness and the heritage of California.
I just got a sample of this-- it's like a bright fresh Old Spice bodywash combined with a campfire. I like it, but it seems more guy-like.
It reminds me of sandalwood soap, or a wooden floor in a cabin in the mountains- clean, light and scrubbed. I have to really reach for the bitter orange that's supposed to be in there somewhere, and as for cannabis, there's nothing that sticky about it. Not great longevity but delightful if in an abstract frame of mind or if wanting to convince someone that you're cleaner than you actually are.
I tried this while I was New York a while back. Personally thought it was kind of nice.
