Default Top Five Designer Exclusives :)

Why not? Has this been done? Whatever.

Not designer, not niche but "Designer Exclusive" releases, usually only available in boutiques or flagship stores - some of these are harder to find than a lot of niche stuff these days. And Guerlain is not a designer house

L'Heure Fougueuse IV (Cartier Les Heures)
    Granville (Dior Prive Collection)
    Bois des Iles (Chanel Exclusifs)
    Vetiver Tonka (Hermessences)
    Tiffany for Men

Anyone tried the Prada Exclusives? Benzoin, Opoponax, Myrhhe - I think there's a Cuir Styrax? They sound interesting - I think there are a few others.

Or Black would probably also qualify in this category, alfarom

OR Black is a hidden gem.

    Not sure why it wouldn't.

Thought of a couple more that are outstanding:

    Cosmic (Solange) an amazing OTT chypre, one of the two perfumes from this Jeweler and;

La Femme Bleue (Armani Prive) a superb Limited Edition iris from a year or two back.

Resurrecting this thread, as I've just resampled two Chanels last evening.
Haven't smelled but only a few designer's exclusives, so I'm reserving two spots.
    My favorites so far are:
    Vetiver Tonka
    Sycomore
    Coromandel

    In no particular order:

any of the Tom Ford Private Blends and/or Les Exclusifs series by Chanel (easily exceeding 5)

if the house of Guerlain would have also been allowed/considered, would have also added the fragrance series Les Deserts d`Orient
(speaking of fragrance series, might add Les Parfums Mythiques by Givenchy as well since, although technically not all of them are designer exclusives, some of the fragrances featured within this line are discontinued by now as regulars and only available as part of this series by now)

    Eau Noire
    Ambre Nuit
    Oud Ispahan
    Dior Vetiver
    Peruvian Ambrette

Wish I had tried more of these to be able to offer a more rounded answer though!

I agree, it's too hard to just pick 5!

I could easily pick five each from Armani's Prive lineup or that of Zegna's Essenze collection. Added to that at least half of Dior's exclusive line, and half of Bvlgari's LeGemme series, and YSL's Splendid Wood, etc, etc.
My current top 10 (subject to change) in no particular order:

Rive Gauche Pour Homme, Essenza de Zegna, Zegna Essenze Amber Gold, Armani Privé Sable Or, Armani Privé Vétiver Babylone, Mancera Cedrat Bois, Acqua di Giò Profumo, Amouage Dia Man, L'Artisan Explosions d’Emotions: Amour Nocturne, Zegna Essenze Italian Bergamot/Acqua di Bergamotto
Currently wearing: Embruns by Keiko Mecheri

My Five have changed since over four years ago when I lasted posted. Now they are:

    Woodissime - Thiery Mugler
    Cuir - YSL
    Tuxedo - YSL
    Bois Martial - Givenchy
    Vetiver - Dior

I consider the designer exclusives as niche.

    But anyways...

    Leather Oud
    Oud Ispahan
    Ambre Narguile

That's it that comes to mind..

    Edit: Oh crap, wait!

    Tobacco Vanille and Rose d'Arabie?
