Own it and like it.
I recently purchased B Men online and the main reason was because I heard it strayed away from the A*Men fragrances and I wanted something a bit different. I don't see many people talking about it online or on forums so I wanted to know what you guys thought about it.
Own it and like it.
Welcome to Basenotes
This happens to be my SOTD
Fantastic dry down. The rhubarb note projects like a beast off the top which lends to it's sweetness and mixes nicely with anise. I can see how some say it reminds them of peanut butter
I think it's base leans more to the woody side than the patchouli side.
Bonus, can be found at a cheaper price.
How are you enjoying it and what are your impressions of it?

Every time I tested this, I enjoyed its uncommon gourmand style.
@Riley; Thank you , and it has not arrived yet , but you are right the price tag makes it very approachable. After your thoughts on it I am excited to try it on as soon as I get it!
You're right: it does, unfortunately, get over-looked. Wore it a few days ago and was pleasantly reminded just how darn good it is. And as Riley mentioned above, give it a bit of time to dry down.

I liked it and also enjoy Ungaro Apparition Homme Intense which is a lot like B*men. Apparition Intense has top notes of Rhubarb and mandarin. Middle of coriander, tea, and anise. Base of amber, vanilla, and licorice.

I have owned a small bottle of this for several years now. Could not really get into it. I like the dry down a lot more than the opening.
Maybe mine is spoiled or something b/c it has lots of little particles floating around inside it, but I don't like it.

Nice scent, gourmand but different from A*Men. Must revisit it.
I enjoy the topnotes, but I don't care for the "peanut" accord that is buried in there, and I really don't like the sequoia note that smells of sweat or BO. Funny enough, Pure Shot also contains the sequoia note, and people also complain that Pure Shot smells of sweat or BO. If Mugler would have omitted this note, I might be able to tolerate both fragrances.
I've owned B*Men almost since day one and still love it. It's easier to wear than A*Men (which I also own and love): I can wear B*Men under just about any mood, whereas it takes the right mood for me to wear and enjoy A*Men. And for some reason, B*Men also works amazingly well on rainy days.
But since it's discontinued, I don't wear it nearly as often as I used to.

Not bad at all, if anything it reminds me of Lanvin Arpege with the sweet anise/licourice thing goin on. Another nice autumn/winter scent.
Very intriguing as with most Christine Nagel's male scents. Rhubarb as quite unusual note, nevertheless its quite synthetic and kind of an amber bomb.
mmm good reviews about this B* Men....I am checking out ebay right now to get a bottle
I already have and love: Angel, Pure Malt, Pure Havan.
BTW today I was testing some 30 mil samples of aventus and MI and I said to my sister "smell these....and she said Aventus is OK", but I told her now this one (Angel) and she said "wow I love that one"
Bought blindly from K-Mart and was initially disappointed. However, that was some years ago and I now consider it one of my favourites.
Don't care for it

I love B*men but unlike the other TM scents it disappears very fast...My wife hates it though
I no longer remember it as much, but what I do remember is that it was spicy and cold in character.
