    Default Loose caps on Creeds?

    Is this common?

So far 2 of 3 bottles I've had have had loose caps.

    I hate loose caps.

Happens quite a bit with Creed.

Unfortunately it seems to be the norm. If I turn my bottle of Aventus upside down the cap actually falls off.

Yes, very common. Some of mine are so loose they would fall off if I turned them upside down. Others are very tight. Makes no sense, really.

Add me to the list of loose caps. I have 2 out of 3 bottles with loose caps. All of them were ordered from fragrancenet.

My Green Irish Tweed and Aventus caps are quite loose (neither will fall off if the bottle was turned upside down, though). My Silver Mountain Water's cap, on the other hand, is quite tight.

I wonder if this happens with particular Creed fragrances or if its just a random thing.

I think it is a Creed thing. The caps on my GIT, Aventus and MI, are all loose fitting.

If a Creed cap fits tightly chances are you have a fake.

I think the caps are loose because it's not meant to be a way to pick the bottle up.. its meant to serve one purpose.. to cover the sprayer.. its more for aesthetic purposes than anything. I guess it has a more classy & elegant feel. Like the glass stoppers in crystal liquor decanters.

My Aventus bottle is rather loose. Green Irish Tweed feels pretty normal whereas Virgin Island Water sits rather tightly.

I keep most all of my fragrances in their boxes and I've learned that I might as well turn my Creeds completely upside down to get the bottle out, because if I just grab the cap and try to pull it out, it will just come off and I'll have to pull it out by the crimp on the neck!

This is what I do when I try to pull a Creed out of its box by the cap....

And this is what I do when I try to remove just about any other fragrance from its box....

Most of my Creeds have had looser caps. My 2014 Aventus 14M01 has a very snug fitting cap. That one has the newer version sprayer, so maybe that is why.
