On an other thread someone mentioned a jasmine-scent by Bruno Acampora. Has anybody smelled it and if yes how does it compare to Tawaf?

l have tried both, & they are completely different. The Acampora Jasmin is very, very dirty & animalic. Tawaf is much more high-pitched & screechy, to my nose. Personally l much prefer the Acampora.

Wearing it for the first time today. Love it! Wow. Sort of like the best parts of a indolic jasmine, intensified a bit. But not shrill...deep and resinous intensity. I am impressed.

"Tawaf" turned me in a jasmine-lover! I didn't like jasmine that much before... and then came "Tawaf", now one of my favourite perfumes!

I am bumping this thread because TAWAF deserves much more love!

The best Jasmine-scent I have encountered yet!

This scent is mesmerizing. It produces a droning high accord after you wear it a while, but I certainly can't wear it every day! Much too rich and intense. Sometimes it's high vibration is irritating, sometimes it's sublime. And oddly spiritual, for all it's passion. It's cool it works for you so well. I wish it did unreservedly on me. I'll bet it smells awesome on you!

The thing is that before "Tawaf" I didn't like Jasmine. The perfumes that I tried before "Tawaf" had always this high-pitched and thin Jasmine-note sticking out like a needle, no mids and lows at all. With "Tawaf" you get a Jasmine-perfume with full frequency range, like a droning guitar plugged into a huge amp!
