Default Le Labo Fragrances Now In 30ml Perfume Oil Bottles

I have just had a email from Le Labo informing me that all their fragrances now come as a perfume oil in 30ml bottles. I was just wondering if anyone has tried them and how they got on with the projection and longevity of the fragrances in oil form?

Came up in another thread I think: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/315...s-perfume-oils

    Maybe not the same though.

Jack, I got the email too. Didn't these exist a while ago or were they in larger bottles?

I have never seen them before but sometimes a fragrance in oil form can come in handy for applying behind your ears for example. Application can be more versatile than a spray.

A quick look at their site and it seems they have some similar body oil or massage oil at £40 for 100+ ml. Probably not the same thing if it's that cheap. Don't know why though...

+1, Yes More versatile. When spraying on your neck you don't have to worry about getting it in your eyes, or inhaling methylated alcohol (alcohol dent).

I hope the oils are "attar strength". Something like Amouage Attars. Roll on bottles are so much easier to use also when you just want a little perfume on your hand to smell and you don't want the full spray.

I know this is off topic, but does anyone know of a company that also does attars like Amouage? I know roll on perfume is quite abundant, but it seems like its never great quality.

Yeah. I think they have perfume oil (which is more expensive) and they also sell less expensive body oil. The perfume oil is $120 for 30ml so it should be very very potent. I think the purpose of the body oil is not 100% to make you smell good, but be like a moisturizer or something.
