Default Quorum Silver and Grey Vetiver: A similar feel?

I am not claiming that Puig's Quorum Silver and Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver smell alike, but I can't shake the feeling that when I smell the Puig, I am reminded of the Tom Ford, in some elusive way that I can't quite pinpoint or explain.

Does anyone know if these two fragrances have something in common in terms of their notes?

    Thanks!

It maybe the amber and sage that you are finding similar.

Has been a while since I've smelled either but I remember GV as a citrusy, fresh, light vetiver and QS as mainly (sweetish at first) cedar wood.
