    Default DH Intense / Spicebomb

Are DH Intense and Spicebomb similar?

    Thank's for the advice!

Not sure as I haven't try dhi, but I'm sure it will have better longevity then spicebomb.

they weren't similar to me. dhi was a smooth cocoa whereas spicebomb was spicy.

I own both. They are both very sweet.

DHI is powdery and smells like makeup. Much more feminine than Spicebomb.

Spicebomb smells like cinnamon gum with hint of tea/tobacco/leather. There is a weird sweet spicy vibe going on. It's kind of bizarre.

The only similarity is the sweetness.

They are not similar. Dior Homme Intense smells so much better!

In my opinion, DHI and SpiceBomb are not similar. I have both, appreciate them both. DHI is much better quality juice, better lasting, and is an edp.

Another no. DHI to me is darker and smoother. Spicebomb is sharper. Both are nice, and I'll own both, but DHI is better for me.

I'll add another vote for "Not similar". Both are very good fragrances, but I prefer Spicebomb over DHI on my skin.

Hi thank's for all the replies.

When I put DHI EDP and Spicebomb on my skin I can detect the difference in the first one or two hours: the first is more sweet and the other is spicy. But after few hours I get a very similar sweat scent. While DHI is more heavy, Spicebomb is lighter...

Is it my nose, my brain or my lack off experience?

They're different scents, but you may be picking up on common notes such as tonka and vetiver in the base. They're both by Olivier Polge, too, so you may be picking up on a "family resemblance" that way, too.
