Default Baldessarini Ambre Vs. D&G Light Blue

Hi BNers....Please help me choose. I'm looking to add another frag to my collection this week, and I've been looking at theses two; Baldessarini Ambre Vs. D&G Light Blue. I know both smell good...and I like them both. But which of the two do you think would easily stand out....and smells better in your opinion.

NB: I'm going to make my decision based on your opinions (I hardly do this, I usually buy what I like and and what smells good to me). This time around I'm going to buy the frag BN reviewers recommend to me. Thank you all!!!

    Other suggestions are welcome!

Anything > Light Blue, IMO (harsh I know). It's a bonus that Ambre is quite nice too and will definitely stand out more than Light Blue.

Agree with daz - Light Blue is completely uninspired and virtually anything is preferable. Ambre is typically generic/synthetic Boss but still (slightly) better than the other option.

Of the two: Baldessarini Ambre but not a fan of either of these personally.

hmmm.....I'm surprised, quite, cos ambre seams to get some sort of hype here (BN) though.

    B.A. without a second thought.

It's not hyped, it doesn't have as much as reviews as it deserves and is too seldom mentioned imo.

Ambre By a long shot..... There are many other fragrances out there like Light blue. There is only one Ambre and it is done right.

Amber hands down... Light Blue is very close to nothing on my skin.....

Although I have only smelled Ambre a few times I would say it is your choice. I put Light Blue in the category of cologne for people who are afraid to wear cologne. To me it's bland, boring and fleeting. Just my opinion

I'd take Ambre- a slight bit more maturity, powerhouse, edge and complexity, plus longevity and sillage tend to be a bit better too.
