Guerlain .
I have the Perfume Guide by Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez , but it's overwhelming
If knowing these 3 you can recommend some more you think I'll like I would appreciate it.
thanks
Helen

These Grossman perfumes aren't in The Perfume Guide , but I saw a t.v. programme about how the company is being revivified .
I get the samples from Les Senteurs ( www.lessenteurs.com ) , but their descriptions are not very helpful . I've often thought it would be useful if there was a " you may also like " section like on Amazon ; but I suppose that would close one off to new and unexpected scents . Thanks again.
You might like Hothouse Flower by Ineke. (I like Fracas and Carnal Flower, too)
Iris Ukiyoe by Hermes
I think there's a good chance you'd enjoy Divine by Divine. (Not Eau Divine by Divine, which is a different scent.) It is a wonderful, classically French scent with a prominent rich, buttery tuberose note. What I like about all the Divine feminines is that they are rooted in the classics, but they are nonetheless modern.
Current Top Five:
1. Bois des Iles--Chanel
2. George Sand--Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier
3. L'Ame Soeur--Divine
4. Violet Blonde--Tom Ford
5. Santal Blush--Tom Ford
Welcome to basenotes, helen!
l love Carnal Flower & Fracas too. You may also enjoy Beyond Love by By Kilian, & Estee Lauder Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia.
"What is this secret connection between the soul, and sea, clouds and perfumes? The soul itself appears to be sea, cloud and perfume..." - from Zorba the Greek by Nikos Kazantzakis.
Serge Lutens Tubereuse Criminelle, Histories de Parfums Tuberose 1 and Tuberose 2, Diptque Do Son.
Thanks very much
