Messe de Minuit-Etro
So, I know there was a thread about "your favorite incense," but I was wondering what one incense fragrance you would choose if you could only have one in your wardrobe? Consider versatility, scent, projection, longevity, etc.
Messe de Minuit-Etro
I've just been on Trip Advisor. There was no information on a cut knee.

If we are talking about any scent that has incense as an included note then Portrait of a Lady. If we are talking incense is the focus, then Incense Oud.

Probably Avignon by CdG or Around Midnight by Mark Buxton (both were created by Mark Buxton and smell really similar).
I like that they're so transportive - they really smell like a church at night, with candles and incense burning. They also last pretty long and they're pretty unique smelling.

Bertrand is the master of incense.
Btw Encens Flamboyant and Fille en Aiguiles.
I've got similar questions as well, and have just created a thread about this topic;
I've had a bottle of Avignon for several years that I use on occasion, but I feel I need to be a bit "heavy handed" with it to get any longevity...and it ends up fading within a few hours to almost nothing. Montale's Full Incense seems to be a bit more "rounded" and pleasant to me, and seemingly lasts all day (which I love).
And not directed towards you, but I fail to see M7 as an incense fragrance. As a longtime owner/user of M7, it smells of cherries and synthetic oud to me, not incense.
If i could squeeze more longevity out of CdG's Kyoto, or Olivier Durbano's Black Tourmaline I'd probably re-purchase both. Unfortunately both faded into skin-scents after an hour or so. I love the smokiness of both.
Interlude Amouage!
Either JXXV or Kyoto
Is the juice worth the squeeze?

Not a huge fan of incense, but the only one I can stand is Dirty English

As of right now, I'd go with Timbuktu. On another day I could see answering with Gucci pour Homme (2003) or Fille en Aiguilles.
