Default Are there any "safe" choices for an 18-year old guy?

Are there any safe choices for an 18-year old guy, living in a temperate climate. Something most people agree works on any guy, that you can also wear the whole year? Or does a safe choice simply not exist?

There are dozens of scents out there for what you described. Perhaps narrow it down by mentioning what you like to smell or what fragrances (please don't say Axe) you already like. Just off of random thoughts though, try:

    Cool Water
Rochas Man/MJ Legend/ New Haarlem (the latter is amazing if money is not an issue)
    Boss Bottled
    One Million
Allure Homme Sport/Allume Homme by Chanel
    Egoiste/Platinum Egoiste by Chanel
    Pure Malt by Thierry Mugler
    Original Vetiver by Creed
    etc., etc.

If I were 18 again, and wanted a few fragrances that I could wear day/night, and impress the ladies with, I'd go with"
    Burberry London,
    La Nuit De L'Homme,
    Rochas Man,
    Boss Bottled No. 6.
These are just a few suggestions to get you headed on the right direction. They are no expensive, smell great, and have all passed the test of time.

I just recommended this to another member, and will continue to do so.
    Boss Bottled (Boss No. 6)
    A&F Fierce also seems safe
