I'm posting here rather than the gals' thread because I think I'll have more luck, I like to wear men's fragrances, and "beachy/suntan lotion" fragrances eg Jennifer Anniston, Bobbi Brown are not what I'm thinking of.
I've tried the following, but they're not "it":
Heeley Sel Marin
Ayala Moriel Orcas
Tokyomilk Marine Sel
The closest so far has been DSH Blue-Green: Arnica, but only in a very abstract way. I'm craving fir tree + ocean, as in Quoddy Head beach in Lubec, Maine. Would also welcome suggestions on fragrances to layer to get this combination.
Thanks for your help! Lisa

I know the name is supposedly representing the west coast, but New West for Men, (Aramis) is exactly the mixture you are looking for and done very well. At least please give it a try !!
Holiday accommodation, (central apartments in Berlin and south of France) offered in exchange for fragrances. Please pm me.
Thank you so much, good-smelling guys! I will check those out. Lisa
Another for Kenzo Pour Homme
Granville from Dior suits the bill Lisa.
Some people think luxury is the opposite of poverty. It is not. It is the opposite of vulgarity - COCO CHANEL
Granville is terrific.
You might even want to check out Fou d'Absinthe (L'Artisan Parfumeur) and Filles en Aiguilles (Serge Lutens) while you're in a pine state of mind.
L'eau Bleue D'Issey pour Homme
or Givenchy Horizon
Further votes for Kenzo PH and for Horizon.
Coty Aspen for a good quality budget frag!
