Morning early birds! Cold and frosty here too Donna and we
have logs to stack (the delivery man just dumped them on the
drive and refused to stack them round the back in our log
    store.)
I shall wear Donna Karan Wenge, so I blend in with my wood.

Good morning !. The grey, cold, and frosty theme seems prevalent across much of the UK - here too. Forecast looks grim with gales and rain arriving later.
Goldfinches feeding in the garden provide a nice backdrop for a warming breakfast of porridge, brown sugar and cream, enhanced with a dash of whisky

    SotD is Hugh Parsons Blue.

    Enjoy your day !

I've never seen goldfinches with those red markings on their faces, Jon-- very pretty!

I just got up to post a sample pass and am crawling back into bed! Fragrance later.

    Hello all.

I will be flying back home shortly. Although my visit was short, I found Berlin very interesting. I wouldn't mind leaving London and settling there.

    SOTD is Tabac Blond extrait.

Hiya all! I didn't show much around this week, all because two new classes started at university this week and they gave me additional 10 hours in my schedule so I've been pretty busy lately.

Beautiful images and, thanks to Jon, beautiful music, too. xo

SOTD is Dior New Look 1947. It's lovely, like an ultra-expensive, luxuriant, ultra creamy soap.
Notes include peony, ylang-ylang, pink pepper, jasmine sambac, rose, tuberose, iris, benzoin, and vanilla

Wish you all a very good day.

    Good morning everyone!

It's another gorgeous day here, though a bit on the chilly side, so I'm in a cozy shawl of L'Artisan Parfumeur Safran Troublant.

    Y'all have a great day!

I'm playing around with layering 2 Malones: Blackberry & Bay with French Lime Blossom.

    They're quite nice together.

    Evening Everyone,

Love the Goldfinch pic, Jon. Which reminds me, must buy more niger seeds for them.
Eau de Patou this evening from my new, old bottle. I've Larimar to thank for turning me on to this at the beginning of the year. Finally managed to snag a bottle cheaply off the 'bay.

    Best to all.

Tried a smoked turkey for the first time on T-day..was really bad! LOL. They got it pre-smoked and it just didn't taste like turkey at all..it was actually tart and just was off. Worst 'turkey' I ever tasted, lol. Even they said..um well, this is interesting, lol, which means, ya, fail. lol. Next time, maybe just the roasted I think. Hope everyone had a good Holiday weekend.

Good evening all. Wore Chanel Eau Premiere today. We took mum in law out for lunch. It's her birthday today but a year ago yesterday her husband died suddenly. A bitter sweet day from now. Still scrumptious food at Sant Angelos in Wetherby.

    hi peeps

i like vintages too all sorts.....like this one

hehe...ok am not crazy about the cars...but vintage stuff just remind me of time where everything was done more slowly and without calculations....to last long ...the longer the better

i did not wear any particular perfume today becasue am on a testing spree yuuuuhuu

from my sampling i got my nose on Andy Tauers famous dessert and this one is reaaaaaly something for men!! dry bitter amber with male cologne in it! so so symphonic at the same time.....and since i tried Annick Goutal Ambre fetiche....i could appreciate it more! becasue i am not a fan of ambery scents.....this one dries down perfectly and is not so terribly loud!!!

It warmed up a bit today, 70's, perfect weather for Miami, crisp and cool. No humidity. Lovely! I slept most of the day (got home VERY late from a night of dancing) and then just ran some errands. Now, I'm headed to dinner with my aunties and uncle for a birthday dinner for me (since I won't be able to see them on Monday, my actual b'day).

Funny, every time I wear a jacket to dinner (we're going to The Forge), I have a craving to wear this:

    Tabac Blond (extrait) by Caron

I don't wear this a lot because I only have a tiny amount of juice, I bought @ MiN in NY. But, oh, this stuff just blows me away every single time I wear it. It is probably my Favorite Leather.

Larimar would be proud of me

Thanks to a generous Bner..tested a couple scents..Creed Fleur de La Rose Bulgare and Penhaligon's or however you spell that house..Bluebell.

Creed kind of reminded me of Sa Majestie La Rose by SL but more powdery and soapy..not thick syrup-y like SL. Gets a bit balmy on dry down. Both balmy and powdery a bit.
Bluebell- Very green, powdery, salty? and earthy like an iris note in there. And I would say has some musk and rose. Gets more musky and rosy as it dries down...also a bit balmy. Resinous.

I'm wearing LAP Vanilla Absolument/Havana Vanille today. I prefer the older name ... Havana Vanille is so descriptive.

My shoulder is finally better ... resting it the last two days has done a world of good! Thanks again for all the well-wishes.
    I've trademarked the color bleu
