Default Citrus cologne with good sillage & long lasting?

Could people please make some suggestions for a citrus based cologne like this but with good Sillage and long lasting?
    http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/T...eans-6316.html

    http://www.basenotes.net/ID26122607.html

I dont mind overpowering sillage where I walk into a room and everybody smells it, i've found people get use to strong citruss based sents after the first smell as apposed to some other scents that can be offensive if over powering

    Thanks guys

If you like orange, and don't buy into all the Terre d'Hermes hype, try Cartier Declaration

It sounds like you're looking for Chanel Allure Homme edition extreme.

After reading the notes of Tommy Jeans, you will only get to enjoy the citrus blast in the opening notes then they will morph into an aquatic woody clean scent;unless that's what your looking for.

That's a good point, I"ve only smelt a sample of it in store and haven't worn it. I liked the initial smell but then read the disappointing reviews on Sillage and how long it lasts.

Ill have a look into some of the suggestions people have made so far

If it's citrus you want, I can wholeheartedly recommend Acqua di Parma Colonia original. Best citrus money can buy in my humble opinion.

    1. Neroli Portofino is one of the longest lasting orangey smells I have tried. It is now one of my three or four everyday scents.
    2. Chanel Eau de Cologne is, hands down, the best citrus I've ever smelled, but alas, its longevity and sillage is below par. But that's what you're going to find with citrus -- the molecules do not last. This subject has been addressed many times before.
    3. Hermes Concentre d'Orange Verte used to be my everyday citrus. If you spray it on your clothes, it will last several hours.
    4. Terre d'Hermes parfum is not citrus, to me. It's more like a body odor smell with a vaguely citrus undertone. But I'm in the minority.
    Current Top Ten:

    1. Creed Millesime Imperial
    2. Serge Lutens Chergui
    3. Hermes Concentre d'Orange Verte
    4. Creed Virgin Island Water
    5. Chanel Eau de Cologne
    6. Thierry Mugler Pure Havane
    7. Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme
    8. Bulgari Blu
    9. Bond No. 9 New Haarlem
    10. YSL Kouros

Agreed on Cartier Declaration, even though I would call it a woody floral musc rather than a citrus. Do also try Chanel Allure edition Blanche. Very good sillage and longevity.

Monsieur Balmain-Super Lemony with a wood base...lasts a LONG time on my skin.
Frederic Malle Bigarade Concentree-The citrus lasts throughout the frag...about 3-4 hours on my skin, but 8-10 on clothing.
Bond no 9 Nouveau Bowery-Yep, super strong and lasting citrus.
Bond no 9 Eau de New York and Central Park-Most Bonds last and last.

Philtre d'Amour is absolutely a marvel of perfumery! The EdP and EdT are a delight. I salute my Canadian BN friend Anthony DG for alerting me to this one. Discontinued but 30ml spray bottles have been available on Ebay very reasonably, IMO.

Citrus scents don't last. It's a scent molecule thing. If you want to smell citrusy for 8 hours... Fuggdiaboutit.

That being said, TF Neroli Portofino has got some stamina.

Blu Mediterraneo Bergamotto di Calabria is an excellent citrus fresh smell while it lasts (only a few hours) but it gets compliments left and right.

Surprised no one mentioned John Varvatos Artisan. Very refreshing and boldly citrus to my nose with a musky dry down. Longevity is a little below average.

Also, a little "darker" citrus would be Creed Neroli Sauvage and Chanel Allure Pour Homme. Those two might last longer than JV Artisan.

Allure Pour Homme Sport is more citrusy and less woodsy than Allure Pour Homme.

I agree. It is a classic eau de cologne but it lasts much more than the others, such as 4711 and Extra Vieille Jean Marie Farina.

How about taking a relatively inexpensive citrus cologne like Farina Gegenuber or 4711 and reapplying it during the day?

M by Banana Republic is one of my favorites. Its very straight forward, and not complex at all. Its smells exactly like fresh peeled oranges/tangerines. Has nice projection and silage, and lasts a good 6-8 hours. I don't wear it very often, but in the summer, i love it. I still have the same bottle i purchased in around 2000/01.

Actually, i'm not really even sure they make it anymore. But if you can, give it a shot.
