    Default Dior Fahrenheit

I enjoy the current formulation of Fahrenhet but it only lasts 3-4 hours on me. Is there a noticeable difference in longevity between this version and the older one in the blue box?

Yes, the older version had better longevity and sillage and smelled a bit different. However, the new formulation is just fine to me, but if you are wanting more staying power try spraying your shirt a little. It will hold the frag longer than your skin.

You sure it's not fatigue? I get great longevity and can't seem to get the stuff of my clothes..

The older one is far superior in every way, IMO.

I completely agree with you. The original Dior Fahrenheit lasted all day, and then some. It was a true powerhouse. Unfortunately however, as is the case with most Dior fragrances, the house reformulates the juice and you get a lighter version of the original. I find that Fahrenheit Absolute is closer to the original longevity of the original Fahrenheit formulation. I wish Dior would not do this, it is my favorite house.

I agree. The latest formulation seems to last forever on me and I apply it sparingly! Maybe, as a feminine woman, I'm just reluctant to swim in it....

Must be a bad sample that I received. I read that it was a strong fragrance in reformulation so I was surprised. I had an independent nose try to detect it on me after a few hours but it was faint at best.

I recently purchased a new bottle and I haven't had longevity issues, might be fatigue as mentioned. Definitely give a spritz to an undershirt or something and that will extend the life.

Maybe it is all for the best. Over-applying Dior Fahrenheit can be difficult to pull off (unless you have the right look/attitude). Remember to avoid parking outside of elementary schools on heavy spray days.

Haven't had problems with any version - wonderful scent.

Though it's gone through countless reformulations one thing that hasn't been hurt has been longevity in my opinion.

+1. I get excellent sillage and longevity.

It's non negotiable that vintage is superior over current formulation in Fahrenheit. Unfortunately there is less and less people walking on Earth who can attest to this fact.

New formulation doesnt smell as good as old one but I dont have any problem with longevity or projection. Pretty potent stuff.

What this fellow said. I used to enjoy the original. Current scent makes me feel sick. Common as muck too. Another fail for dior.

    Both are good albeit different.

That's odd, the current formulation of Fahrenheit lasts a good 10+ hours on my skin and for days on clothes. Ask people around you if they can smell it, maybe you just can't pick it up yourself.

I saw a vintage 100ml bottle (still in cellophane) go for > £40 on ebay on Sunday
