Have it and love it.
I really like Eau Sauvage in general, and I just got a bottle of the current Eau Sauvage Extrême today (I already have ES and Fraîcheur Cuir, and both are amongst my favourites - just need the Parfum!)
I'd already sampled it before, but in less-than-ideal conditions (in a very smelly perfume dept, and at airport duty-free), so after it arrived this morning I went for a full wearing of it and headed out - even if the current cold weather in the UK is probably not ideal for it.
And my first impressions are very favourable indeed. The opening lemon is amongst the best lemon notes I've smelled, and so far it seems to have pretty decent longevity. And the lavender behind it seems really quite delicate to me, and very nice - nothing like the "in yer face" lavenders that appear more common.
Are there any other fans of this fragrance out there?

Eau Sauvage Parfum has a semi-strong vetiver presence when I sampled it @ the Dior boutique during the Basenoters' Vegas Reunion.
If someone can smell me at more than an arm's length away, I'm probably wearing too much of whatever I applied; if she can distinctly make out the top notes, then perhaps I left the house a bit too soon..
I tend to compliment people on their frags to make short talks rather than anything more meaningful.
¿Si o No?
I'm a big fan of the original Eau Sauvage Extreme, much less so of the so-called INTENSE reformulation, I'm afraid.
Eau Sauvage Extreme Concentree -- a grassy indolic 80s frag, discontinued
Eau Sauvage Extreme Intense -- a boring modern concoction, sort of like Bvlgari Extreme
What does "indolic" mean, please?
Ah, thanks Easyfish & Oscroft.
Yes, I just bought some of the old Eau Sauvage Extreme on Ebay. Been my favourite fragrance for more than 20 years, so having it reformulated is like a death in the family.
look at my signature and search for Eau Sauvage...
My signature scents:
Current: GREEN IRISH TWEED (since June 2010)
Past: BOIS DU PORTUGAL (Oct. 09 - May 10)
Past Past: EAU SAUVAGE (good 15 years !!!)
Past Past Past: LANVIN L'HOMME (2 years)
Past Past Past Past: EAU SAUVAGE again (3 years or so)
The more I smell this, the more I love that clean and delicate lavender note.
