    Serge Lutens Chergui
    Serge Lutens Miel de Bois

    Byredo M/Mink

Also, the base of Dior Leather Oud is a naughty honey/civet combination, but I wouldn't say the fragrance is about honey overall.

Yes, another +1 Back to Black... Then there is always the great powerhouse Giorgio for Men that has a honey component.

Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque -- very prominent honey note + spices + smoke
Frapin 1270 -- boozy honey (I personally think the honey note in this one is stronger than in Back to Black; these two fragrances do have some similarities, but 1270 is available at a fraction of the price)
Parfumerie Generale Indochine -- spicy honey (kind of like the stewed spices in SL Arabie but less curry/cumin and more honey)
Mazzolari Patchouli -- honey isn't dominant but it's there and lovely with the patchouli
Parfumerie Generale Intrigant Patchouli -- also isn't dominant but sweetens an otherwise powdery patchouli

I get a strong honey note in Slumberhouse's Rume - well, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, but when I do it's great.

In fact, I bought Rume based on the honey note as when I do smell it it drives me a little crazy. The cola / Dr. Pepper and spices are pretty nice as well.

This, this, this. Heavy on the honey...and it's awesome. I also get more of a honey vibe from Tobacco Vanille than I do a vanilla vibe.

SL Chene also has a nice beeswax/honey note, as does Chanel's Antaeus. In the latter it's peeking out from a very austere, gentleman's composition. Just beautiful, imo.

Definitely Back to Black. It has the most stunning honey note in my opinion.

I also agree with Chene by Lutens. That's more on the line of beeswax, but still nice as a contrast to all those woods.

+1 on Santa Maria Novella Acqua di Cuba is a rich honeyed tobacco, it is EDC, but it has EDT to EDP longevity.

+1 on Hermessence Ambre Narguile reminds me of Honeyed Apple Pie

+1 on Tenere, I can detect lovely subtle honey note.

    Good list here, DuNez!

However, I would like to add Giorgio for Men, Vintage Kouros (where it is more noticeable), Vintage Givenchy Gentleman and Chergui Serge Lutens and make a key point that Balenciaga Pour Homme does not actually have honey as a note. Neither does Balenciaga Ho Hang Club, EarNoseThroat. I am going to write a forum thread (which I have already in draft) about the "honeyed" accord of Vintage Balenciaga scents. I hold these bottles in the highest regard and consider Balenciaga a magnificent house in their glory days (which have past). It is actually the depth of the key resin found in those compositions, Styrax, combined with other ingredients (including other resins and rich, deep floral notes). Caramel is an actual note in Balenciaga Pour Homme, by the way - so there is some sweetness.

Interesting thread. And, for the record, Vintage Paco Rabanne Pour Homme does not have honey as a note either. It has a 'honeyed tobacco' note, which blends incredibly well with the rich resins (cistus and lentisk) as well as amber, oakmoss, and tonka bean (coumarin). But, no actual honey. A significant difference and someone with even an average nose can discern the two notes clearly as different.

    Cheers.

Boss Number One really highlights the honey, without too much of anything else being a distraction. Just Me by Montana is marketed to women but is basically a unisex gourmand with a clear honey note, though I wouldn't call it the star of the show.

Absolutely. I enjoy honey but, I find it's overdosed here. If you love honey this is the one to get!

Ambre Narguile, Frapin 1270 and others being mentioned are far from Back to Black in the honey department.

I find the honey note is very underplayed since it's mostly used as a support element adding the sweetness to a fragrance. The only 2 fragrances I've smelled that use the honey note as the main element are
Miel de Bois - Serge Lutens (the drydown is vey horrid, beware)
Delivre Moi - Libertin Louison Technique Indiscrete (hard to find in the US but might be traceable in Europe). One of my fav in my collection, pure and transparent honey on a powdery base. Might be considered to be feminine to some though

Absolue has the more apparent honey, whereas Chergui seems to have an effect reminiscent of honey (at least to me, as it smells a helluva lot like a pakistani fried rice dish...)

Good list going here, and I would highly second L'Occitane Immortelle de Corse and Chergui. I've not tried Back to Black.

Another one to throw out there is Tom Ford Moss Breches, which is a thick honey that turns rather spicy. Kind of a love it or hate it fragrance.

Also may wanna check out Sables by Annick Goutal. It has an immortelle note in it that lasts FOREVER.. I mean 48 hours easily. I'm not very well knowledged on this note. I do know it's a yellow flower that looks like it has a lot of pollen in the center once it's fully blossomed.. I'd assume that center is what gives it its honey like smell.

    Hi The_Cologneist -

I highly admire Goutal's brilliant work and her early bottles were exceptional, but Immortelle is an entirely different note than honey. It is a rare flower (that was once believed to offer immortality) that retains its form and color after it is picked and dried. The note in fragrance is somewhere between curry/fenugreek to some and maple syrup to others that has been described as "honeyed" in flavor. Osmoz.com says “essence of immortelle gives chypre, floral and amber compositions a particular charisma” and characterizes the smell as “red fruit, syrupy, nut, honey-flavored, tobacco.” So, not a true honey note - but context and accords can be drawn...

    Interesting.

    Cheers.
