Default how to remove a fragrance from your skin

typically, i rub the area of my skin with rubbing alcohol.

then i use water to spread baking soda over the area

i wait 15 minutes for the baking soda to soak up the odor

then, i shower with ivory soap

what do you guys think of this method?

also, what do you do to remove fragrance?

Whatever works. Olay soap and a hot shower do the trick for me.

I've found that if you rub your perfumed skin with an unscented moisturiser before washing with soap, you can wash far more fragrance off than just using soap.

Your method seems thorough and more effective than mine. I usually just wash with whatever soap I have around, but I can usually smell traces of the fragrance afterwards.

I mainly use oxygen and hydrogen with what I believe to be some sort of mix of treated oils/fats and other stuff.

    LOL!

Same here. Although for tough scents, I substitute sodium tetraborate decahydrate for long chain sodium carboxylates and their synthetic analogs.

well, some fragrances are strong though.

the powerhouses need more than a hand washing.

Got back and decided not to subject my wife and child to the Leather Oud I had on my neck, but washing with warm water and face wash doesn't seem to have done much to it...

Make up remover lotion would make most sense.

Noirdrakkar, your method would remove most of my skin as well as the scent! I have very thin, hyper-sensitive skin, which normally eats up perfume so that if I don't like something, I just have to wait 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the samples I really, really hate seem to last for ever.
