Its OK, you don't need to watch. I'll summarise:
    The story of fragrances:

...good fragrances.......IFRA........bad fragrances all made but a few companies from their own ingredients. The end.

"This film clears up any misperceptions about the industry by showing that safety, precaution, and precision are essential when crafting fragrances. 'The Story of Fragrances' demonstrates that consumer safety is the number one goal of the industry."
Oh brother, that's what I was afraid of.

"Let me assure you that we're doing our very best to prevent the words "evil", "danger" and "toxic" from popping into your mind whenever you think of perfume."

Kind of reminds me of that old joke : "Try not to think of a polar bear."

'The Story of Fragrances' demonstrates that consumer safety is the number one goal of the industry." If safety is the fragrance industry's number one goal, why doesn't it abandon the notion of creating art and go fight terrorism?

Overpaid beaurocrats look bad when they are bored, so they have to justify their wages by making it hard for others to get anything done. This doesn't just happen in fragrance

This video was very interesting. I'm surprised that it's receiving the backlash.
