    Default Authentic excotic coconut fragrance

I'm looking for a coconut fragrance that has coconut as a dominated note. Suggest me some sweetened and unsweetened coconut fragrances that smells authentic. I really don't care if it's marketed to males or females, if it's cheap or expensive, dark or bright, just suggest me whatever fits my description!

If you know it's hard to find please suggest me some sites that you know carries the fragrance.

Notes that I hate: Musk, woods (it's ok if it's sweet woods) tobacco, leather, patch.

    Thanks in advance.

Virgin Island Water has a dominant coconut note with rum, lime and other tropical aromas. Very nice indeed, but not cheap.

Also, they say that FCUK Friction has "black coconut" in it - still trying to decide if that's what I'm smelling or whether the marketing people planted it in my mind. Lol This one is actually pretty inexpensive. Good luck!
    Fall/Winter Rotation:

    Lancme Hypnse
    Lanvin Avant Garde
    Zegna Intenso
    Dior Homme Intense
    Thierry Mugler Taste of Fragrance
    Prada Amber Intense Pour Homme

If smelling good was a crime, I'd be serving a lifetime sentence....

Although it's not listed in the notes, Paul Smith London is supposed to be a unique and fantastic coconut dominated fragrance.
Top notes of... sweat, gasoline, motor oil; a heart of deer musk and gunpowder, resting on a base of sex and testosterone... Mandom.

Dior Hypnotic Poison is eminently wearable by a man (a little sweet but that's going to come with coconut) and a good exampled of a well performing contemporary, if slightly synthesized, perfume. It has plenty of well controlled coconut - but maybe not the knockout punch you're looking for.

To my nose Hypnotic Poison is far more of an almond dominated fragrance. I don't really get coconut from it. Having said that, I'm a big fan of Annick Menardo's work and this is no exception. It's definitely worth a try, it might give you that exotic, nutty feel that you are looking for.

I think you will struggle to find a coconut dominant fragrance without at least one of the things you dislike: musk, woods (it's ok if it's sweet woods) tobacco, leather, patch. Virgin Island Water might fit the bill but I did not find it anything special or worth the price tag.

According to the basenotes search this might hit the spot it has an exotic sounding combination that's for sure:

There is a need for a company to make a high-quality coconut.

It would be nice if Creed came out with "Creed Coconut Millesime."

The coconut in Michael Kors for Men killed the scent for me as I do not like coconut. Of course this also was the case for VIW.
