I tried them, but I didn't like any.
So after saving my hard earned dollars I finally went and got myself 120ml bottle of Aventus. It was not easy to get, I think there is only one shop in my whole city (population 2.2 million) that sells it but I found my way there and dropped my cash on it. The sales assistant was surprisingly knowledgeable when it came to fragrances... I guess that's why you pay the extra dollars when buying in a store as the service was exceptional.
Anyway, she told me it was my lucky day because they had just got some new Creed sample packs in. She gave me 5 x 2ml samples of a range called "Acqua Originale". The five different ones were:
Asian Green Tea: tested on paper and my skin, quite pleasant and safe with a VERY strong tea note.
Vetiver Geranium: tested on paper and my skin, smells awesome, very green and fresh.
Iris tubureuse: tested on paper and on my girlfriends skin, smells nice and soft however far too feminine for a man to wear.
Aberdeen Lavander: tested on paper but can't remember much, didn't seem too impressive.
Cedre Blanc: same as the Aberdeen, tested on paper but didn't stand out.
Anyone else tried these new Creeds? The sales assistant said they had only just got them in but I live in Australia so I suspect they have been available in other countries for a while.
I tried them, but I didn't like any.

I don't like any of the fragrances from this new Acqua Originale line.

Vetiver Geranium is definitely FBW, without a doubt. It's amazing. My favorite woody floral right now, though I'm not sure why the OP describes it as green.
It's a great spring/fall fragrance. Fresh enough for the spring from the geranium and rose, but the cinnamon gives it a warmth that screams "fall". Gorgeous! One of my favorites!
Asian Green Tea is great, too. Sweet, fresh tea + citrus combo. At first I thought it was too sweet, but the sweetness tames as it dries down. The only thing preventing me from buying a full bottle is that it might be just a tad too feminine.

Congratulations on Your purchase... I have not tried these new Creeds yet!!!
Not sure why, but to me, Asian Green Tea smelled vile. I only smelled it on paper though.
Congrats on your acquisition!
