Default Where to try: Guerlain Shalimar Initial l'Eau

I was just down at Saks Beverly Hills and they did not have this stuff yet. I know it came out a few months ago. Was it a Europe-only release? I'd like to compare it to the lovely Shalimar Parfum Initial.

I was in Paris in the beginning of April and La Maison Guerlain did not have it by then. I tried it about a month later in a perfume store in Vienna. So, it's just been out here.

Well I'll just jump on the Dreizehn AAAAAHHHH to Kärtnerstraße and schnüffle till my Nasenlöcher pop!

Have fun, MonkeyBars! It's a weirdo to me initially and rather pleasant after half an hour.
Ah yes, I usually schnüffel at the Graben.

Haha gotta love the outdoor cafes on the Graben, especially this time of year! Though knowing Wien, it's probably raining or something. No surprise that's where a fancy shmancy perfume shop would be. I haven't been back in 15 years. Seems like six months. Would be fun to go for a visit.

Hey, it's not London, though it could be much much better overall. I agree.

Wasn't it limited edition????? The tester bottle is still in my local Debenhams Belfast. I suggest you try the lower end department stores.

This juice does not seem to have made it anywhere at all stateside, even the flagship Guerlain boutique in Vegas, according to my bro Al Gae.

I just realized the 13A doesn't go to the First District. It's 1A, 2A, and 3A if I recall the Umstiege correctly...

Well, I am of no help with the Straßenbahn, MonkeyBars. I always go schnüffeling to the city center on foot (from where I work).
Anyway, I need to retry this next time. I quite liked it after it had settled down a bit.

Hey Larimar, pretty sure only bus lines, not trams, have a letter after the number . . .

I saw it at several airports in Europe in July. I don't remember details, but I remember thinking that if someone already has the original, they wouldn't need this flanker. I am not sure it's still available, but if you know someone who's traveling, they can check at the duty-free shops for you.

I ordered samples of it off eBay. Tried it the other day. Now I need to go back to SPI and compare again.
