Default Estee Lauder "Beyond Paradise" for men

yesterday I purchased Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise for men as a blind buy ...I remember smelling this cologne in a men's health magazine a long time ago and it was very nice. I believe it is discontinued. Has anyone owned it and what can they tell me about it?

Why don't you check out the reviews section here? I liked it personally and think it is one of the better offerings in its genre and a good value, but many folks here have been disappointed with it and that seems to be the general consensus.

I like it as well, but you'll find it here at Basenotes it's kind of vilified most likely because of LT's 5 star rating.

It's an 'odd duck' but I like it . . . the scent makes me think of a city produce market on a damp, cool, Spring morning. I don't really want to smell like that, but, I like the smell.

This is one of the very few scents Luca Turin gives 5 star to and I don't like. It smells a little too modern-synthetic to me. That said, within the genre, it is certainly very good.
