Thread: JPG's Kokorico

    Default JPG's Kokorico

Why so little love for JPG's latest men's fragrance after a long line of Le Male flankers? I tested it the other day and liked its spicy chocolatey scent quite a bit. Much better than Le Male IMO (which smells like acrid, sour vanilla on me). Also smells more interesting than LIDG, which it is often accused of plagiarising.

Hi, I haven't used this forum for quite a while, so please excuse such a negative post, but I felt I had to respond to this. This is the ONLY fragrance that has ever left me feeling physically sick. It's the most cloying, artificial mess I can ever recall sampling. Each to their own, and you like what you like, but in my opinion it's vile!

Big fan here: I think it's fab and also can't understand the indifference about it here. Far more engaging than almost anything else in the last couple of years; spicy choc, chilli and patchouli. However, it doesn't remind me much of the more complex LIDGE, as a lot of people suggest.

Smells like rats testicles! Gruesome stuff.

Nonetheless I respect it for what it is.

Never smelled rats' testicles, but i wouldn't be surprised if Kokorico does mell like it. Something in it reminds me of rotten garbage, mold and the like, probably a very weird vetiver note, it's very sharp and not pleasing. The first fragrance from Annick Menardo that I do not like.

I bought it and also regretted it, actually mekes me salivate for real chocolate and maybe this is what disurbes me, the scent is maybe targeted for youth use, I can't find a real situation to wear it..... then again I think it's a good fragrance!

I didnt think it was THAT bad of a fragrance, but it didnt have a spark or anything like that. I remember it smelling earthy and coco like, nothing worth buyng for me.

I've sampled it when, when I was overseas and taught it was similar to LIDGE. It wasn't all that bad. Better then the Le Male flankers for sure. But like a few mentioned, try Borneo...it takes the cake easy!!!

You can't get Borneo in the UK, guys.

In my opinion, in spite of the (somehow unfavorable) hype, this scent is quite good among the ones of the gourmand category.

Not bad, but it'll never, ever achieve that what Le Male has achieved.

I have never tried this one yet. Sounds like it never measures up to its comparisons though. I am happy with Borneo or LIDGE
