Question Maison Martin Margiela 'Untitled' EDP

I tried Untitled the other day and loved the initial spray. The dry down was quite refreshing and unique. The only issue is longevity. It sticks for a good 3 hours and it just disappears to a barely noticeable skin scent.

Has anyone tried this? If so, can anyone recommend a similar fragrance but with better longevity?

Great fragrances with poor longevity is such a displeasure.

I enjoyed the galbanum in the opening as well, but it doesn't last, as you have found.

One way to extend any fragrance is to get some on your clothing.

I find the longevity on this one just fine for me. In fact one time I over applied it and it gagged me out a little, so I had to go easy on the trigger the next time I sampled it.

If I had to compare it to any fragrance, that is 'stronger' I would say try No. 19 by Chanel. Don't be scared that it's a scent marketed to women - it's very unisex.

Agree with Mike - try no.19 (EdP). Also stars that fantastic bright, green galbanum but has a far more interesting drydown.

I really loved the bottle , and the top note is nice but it is very weak. It reminds me of of an ultra diluted Fahrenheit.

I need to go retest this one. I remember it being very light and fresh and green, and liking it, but thinking it was barely too femme for my wardrobe. I love green scents, so Imm eager to retest this one in cold weather.

He had another lighter summer flanker of this as well, with more citrus up too.

I remember liking both if them, just not quite enough.

I remember reading somewhere that the perfumer, Daniela Andrier (who does most Prada scents) did this one for MM so many people were calling it Infusion d'Galbanum which is a good description.

Maybe Cristalle from Chanel, which also opens with galbanum? It's a fresh, green chypre, grassy and flowery. It's transparent, airy. But the lasting power is good.

Good call. In this specific case, this could be actually even more appropriate than No.19.
