    Default Favorite Opening

What's everyone's favorite fragrance "Opening"? My personal favorite has to be...CREED Silver Mountain Water. The burst of a fresh Mandarin opening is a amazing," Very fresh and cool" compared to other fragrances with a similar openings. I dunno this has always stuck with me to be a favorite. I just wish the dry down was as good, it's been a Creed that I don't use much :/

Forgot to add Bond No. 9 Coney Island...Has the opening of a lime and fresh Margarita Mix, with a hint of Sea Salt. Avery unique blend. LOVE IT.

Creed Millesime Imperial and Aventus openings are very good. I can't think of any that are better.

    Dior Homme Intense (lipstick blast)
    Pure Havane (cherry blast)
Pure Malt (fruity drunk blast, it's actually the only part of the fragrance I like, after the opening it's downhill)
Tobacco Vanille (nuclear vanilla-tobacco explosion daaaaaaaaamn)
La Nuit de L'Homme (sweet spicy reminds of cinnamon, but I know it's the cardamon)
    Aventus (pineapple ethereal piercing smell)
Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme (sweet, masculine, somewhat spicy, makes me feel Mediterranean if you know what I mean)

SMW is pretty good. There's lot's I like. The opening blast of Cuir Mauresque is pretty amazing IMO. LK's Revo is also great.

The blast of juniper in the opening of Divine L'Homme de Coeur is still a thrill every time. Actually the first few minutes of Guerlain Vetiver are great, as well--the citrus and tobacco is most in evidence for the first ten minutes.

Most scents in my test list, apart from what is already there in the fragrance wardrobe. In most or all cases, it was "love at first sniff" and long before I was ever interested, surprised, delighted etc. by the base notes/drydown/sillage/final impression of a scent, there were the openings that caught my attention.

Best individual example: Armani Eau pour Homme, also my favorite scent, while it does get even better with drydown, the first impression is a treat on its own.
