Default A Barber Dual - Invasion Barbare and HdP 1725 Casanova

So far I have only tried IB but have heard quite a few compare these two fragrances. I have a sample of Casanova on the way. What do you think of these two fragrances? What do you think of the comparison?

1725 fragrance does remind me of Invasion Barbare but with the violet removed and less complex, if money was no issue then I would choose IB. But 1725 is still a very good fragrance and if money was a issue then it would be a good choice.

Both are very nice but prefer HdP 1725 as it comes in a large size.

I don't think they're all that similar outside of both being "nu-geres."

1725 has anise, lavender and almond going on (fairly powdery), whereas IB is more citrus/spice/woody-vanilla.

Being less sweet, I prefer IB.

...I don't smell the difference in price, so 1725 Casanova is my choice...!

I haven't tried IB, but I wasn't a fan of 1725. I think the almond in it made it a bit sickly for me.

I enjoy & own both. Don't really see the need to pick one over the other. 1725 is indeed warmer, more powdery yet equally terrific.
