The best of luck to you. Take care.
Thread: thebeck is signing off
I have really enjoyed sharing our love for perfume for the past six years. I've decided to retire from working, and will be on a fixed income. I won't be buying samples or bottles any more. I do have more than a lifetime supply of some seriously good scents.
My disposable income will now be alotted to travel.
Goodbye, and keep up the good work.
thebeck - Ken
The best of luck to you. Take care.
Enjoy your retirement, Ken. I am sure you will be impressing all the locals while wearing scents like Puredistance M from your fine collection on your travels.
Wishing you all the best...

Enjoy your travels and take care of yourself. Sounds like a great way to spend retirement.
All the best to you!
PS: Never say never, eh?
Here's to your retirement. And smelling great while you're at it!
All the best and have a wonderful time yet to come!
Should you ever change your mind, you can always be certain to be welcomed here with open arms.
But meanwhile, enjoy fragrant and happy days, wherever the roads of life, but foremost, especially the traveling,
may bring you!
I woke up this morning to see all the nice goodbyes. I'm actually tearing up right now. I feel like Sally Fields did back in 1985 at her acceptance speech for Norma Rae - "you really like me, you really like me."
All your heartfelt thoughts mean alot to me. Thanks for sharing them with me.
Stay tuned for my final review next week of Fetish Pour Homme by Roja Dove.
I thought it might be a befitting farewell for an 'M" and Fetish Pour Homme comparison.

Congratulations on retirement, we all miss you here.
Hope you health & happiness in your journeys.
Tell us about your great scents on trips...
thebeck- I remember reading a post of yours a couple of years ago. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was about now (probably M), though at the time it compelled me to do a 'find all posts' search on you. I ended up reading back through about 6 months of your posts, maybe more. I learned a lot from them and I have looked out for new posts ever since. You are a very knowledgeable guy and your contributions on the boards will be sorely missed. Good luck on your next chapter.

We're all in the same game; just different levels. Dealing with the same hell; just different devils.
All the best to you, Ken!
Enjoy your retirement. Wishing you all the best!
Hey Ken, you always have something interesting to say. And you're not afraid to stand up for where your nose leads you. I appreciated your fresh perspective on fragrances and I can't help but think and hope that . . . you'll be back!
I do hope you still post from time to time. You've swayed me to try more than a few thing and I still love the De Bachmakov you sold me.. Take care!!
To one of the best who ever took this thing seriously. We are all a bit more wiser to have obtained knowledge in this thing of ours. Good luck and GOD BLESS!
Best wishes man!!
Your taste and advice on this board were utmost.
I'm gonna miss reading your takes on everything.

Ken, best wishes on your future life.
Oddly, the only constant in life is change. We move on with new lives and other equally interesting different pursuits.
I have enjoyed your posts.

Your presence on BN will be missed. All the best!
"The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not the "thinker." The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter - beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace - arise from beyond the mind.
You begin to awaken"
